A lot of things happened just before Rosh Hashanah 2024.

Babylon is the big elephant that Persia is after. And right now, Persia has them all by the balls. Amalek must make good its threats to retaliate or swallow disgrace, accept Persia's superiority

It looks like the next item on the agenda is Peace and safety, to fulfil Isaiah 2:2-4

There was new about organising a national prayer session for Nigeria to be better, the majority opinion, especially on Nairaland was that it was an unintelligent approach to problem solving. One newspaper called for 'action' not prayers.

Nigerians have no idea what exactly their problem is, its origins and why.

Prayer and genuine repentance to God is the only way out of our problems, only God can help us.

But we have all become woke. Is it prayers that developed American, or British? A complete lack of understanding of the spiritual basis for how everything is built and run in the universe.

If you do not call the national prayer congregation, the country will get worse.

Meanwhile, redemption for us will come at the LORD'S discretion. He already said it, that not because of us, but because of his holy and great name which we profaned among the heathen.

So, as we have rejected the call to a holy congregation, there is nothing anyone can do, the living will just continue to wait on the LORD

So the argument has been that , what about all these prayers we had been praying all this while? Well, we are not talking about the 'warfare' prayers that you all pray to destroy your enemies, or the prayers for blessings and prosperity.

We are talking about a national congregation call to solemnity and sobriety, fasting and praying to the LORD in sackcloth as we seek his help for all our problems.

But this is a country of ignorant people who are so full of themselves. You all think running a country is by speaking or writing English or going to universities. Those countries that are well run, it is because God is with them. The countries that are in a bad shape, like Nigeria, it is because God is not among us.

As we have rejected this call to national congregation of prayers and repentance, so that God can turn our lot around for good, let us all wait then.

What a beautiful reminder of our need to stay watchful and grounded in faith as we await the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
