Real Madrid are severely struggling without Toni Kroos;
Manchester City are also struggling without Rodri; Barcelona already struggled without Busquets.

This shows how important and how grossly underrated, the DM position is in today's football. It's not easy to find players who can play this position so well.

I am very glad that Rodri finally got his flowers for such an underrated role by winning the Balon d'or. 🥰

I am also glad that Marc Casado and Marc Bernal (when he returns), are finally owning this position for us and finally making us look a compact team again.

Unlike Rodri and Busquets, Toni kroos wasn't a DM. He was a Deep lying playmaker, same profile as pirlo then and Pedri now.

Football, particularly defending is more of sense. Araujo lacks defending sense, man is more brawl than brain. He shouldn't come and disrupt the Pau/Martinez synergy.

Small sample size bro. Kounde is a regular playing RB and CB. Inigo is a medical trainee as such, his numbers will look better.

Kounde Araujo or Araujo Christensen remains our best pairing.

Inigo was good against Napoli until he was pushed even though he fell too quickly.

If you're angry at Araujo for his mistake be specific and while specific, its already a new season so let go,'not saying he is poor' or 'has lost his touch' or we are better off without him......cus at a point some players will wear out or loose form and when that 'gba' for Barca starts una go begin curse/fault laporta/Flick/Deco/.....etc.
