Nigerian usele$s leaders have a lot of money at their disposal and know where they can invest it to better citizens' lives but they won't, but always investing in what has no economic value to the people. And at the end, they claim they have worked for the citizens?

What's the essence of flyovers?
Why spend billions on uneconomical roads and their maintenance?
Why spend billions building substandard projects that have less than 10 years lifespans?
Why always building schools, while the existing ones are poorly maintained and funded?
Why not agriculture?
Why not commercial trains to reduce transportation cost?
Why not vocational and technological skill acquisition centers?

During the reign of Wike such transparency of posting such breakdown of revenue profile was a rarity. For 8 years, Rivers people didn't see their budget. What we were only furnish was the periphery of breakdown of CAPEX and Recurrent Expenditure.

That of the State IGR that grew from #12 billion to #28 billion within a few months of Gov. Sim emergence that is one miracle too good to believe. The meat of it all is that Wike was underreporting or understating the actual IGR. The differentials was what he was using to fund many state chapter of PDP and also that of the National PDP.

And to think that he was unable to promote Rivers state civil servants for 8 years nor pay gratuity to retired pensioners is really heart-wrenching

Wike is one corrupt Buffon that should never have ruled Rivers state. If a forensic audit is to be carried out for the 8years he ruled Rivers state, the monumental financial malfeasance that will emanate from the investigation will dwarf whatever any previous governors in the annals of Nigeria has ever stolen.

As Rivers indigenes we had high hopes of pursuing our postgraduate studies abroad through the RSSDA education initiative, where is that program today?

Bought over people's lands (forcefully took some) with government monies to build Hypercity shopping malls across the state for him and his family.

Sharing monies to states like Sokoto while neglecting those in need in his state.

We have never had it this bad in Rivers State where different ethnic groups are divided across party lines.

What is happening in Rivers State is akin to ethnic rivalry because of one man. Fighting against each other because of politics.

The recent one he is doing now is trying to turn Ogoni people against Ijaws by telling the Ogonis it is their turn the governor is using to govern.
