You can write your own top 10 out. That's his own top 10 on the "average" Nigerian. The "average" Nigerian don't have any phone let alone using smart phone.
Tonosobe, also known as Touchlight phones, is slowly making its way back into the mainstream.

Despite the fact that the economy is crazy at the moment.
The lack of financial intelligence among Nigerians has only made it worse.

Ask how many Nigerians have HMO and you would be surprised.
You can't spend N300k to cover your family for a year but you will suddenly have 100k to pay a one time bill for just one person's illness.

If you ask me it's Penny-Wise-Pounds-foolish.

10. Clubs and Social Activities – 8%
Despite financial struggles, Nigerians still enjoy social gatherings. People spend about 8% of their income on clubs and social activities.

I don't understand this ratio.

83% of my income on food, 48% of same income on transportation, 38% of still same income on Bills and Utilities, yet again clothing is taking 35% of same income and the rest.

Shouldn't the total percentage be 100? I'm not understanding this analysis.

So going by your analysis of how "The average Nigerians" live their lives, not having a smartphone. Does the average Nigerian go to clubbing ?

It's even very foolish for the writer to think that all "Nigerians" do the same.

Depends on where you go. A few places still bubble - one specific days - but most places have become deserted. Its not as it was before.

Typically, only employed individuals have HMOs because their companies require them to enroll during the hiring process. Many people rarely utilize these plans, and it's easy to understand why.

In some companies, employees can even face termination if they use their HMOs too often, with the threshold being as low as three times a year.

Lebanese Companies can be cruel.

I think the percentage is based on the number of people that responded to a particular category.

Mostly, only employed people have HMOs and it's because their company mandated it during recruiting process and that's the end, people hardly use it and you can't blame them. Ask my Why?

Some certain company will get you fired if you use HMOs too frequently, even as frequent as 3x in a year.
Private HMOs go for as low as even 2k per person for a month. a family of 4 will be 8k a month. For me it does not even have to company HMO every responsible man should have a health insurance cover. It's cheaper. What happens when his child falls ill in the middle of the month when all the money he has left is for transport to and fro work?
People need to be made to understand these things, they don't know that HMO is cheaper that walking into the hospital and paying bills...
some 2k HMO even cover surgeries, depends on the provider

I hope your message reaches many people. Most individuals are not well-informed about this situation, and given the current times, many are focused on survival. Suggesting that someone struggling to find food should invest in HMOs is a misplaced priority; they will tell you that hunger is their greatest concern.

With the records you should have known that the stat is an independent analysis and not a mutually exclusive stat.
