Economy: Nathaniel Bassy Shares His Emotional Encounter with a well dressed Man Ransacking His Dustbin for Food.

Gospel singer and pastor Nathaniel Bassy, also the organizer of the popular Hallelujah Challenge, recently shared an emotional encounter with a well-dressed man he caught ransacking his dustbin for food in broad daylight.

According to Bassy, he was sitting outside having a meeting when he suddenly noticed a man going through the trash outside his house. Curious, Bassy approached the man and asked why he was scattering the contents of the dustbin. To his surprise, the man was pulling out leftover food from the trash. Bassy then asked if the man had a dog at home that he was planning to feed, but the man shocked him by replying that he was taking the food to feed himself.

Deeply moved, Nathaniel Bassy asked the man to return the leftover food to the trash and gave him some money to buy a proper meal. Bassy explained that he became overwhelmed with emotion and couldn’t hold back tears as he watched a well-dressed man searching for food in the trash.

He urged those who have enough to eat to look out for others who are struggling and help them, as times are particularly difficult now.

"If you have food in this season, give thanks. Things are hard," he said.

Bassy also revealed that he is making arrangements to ensure the man is better taken care of moving forward.

Normal sight in Lagos. Scavengers eat food from the refuse bins within Ajao estate and other high brow neighbourhoods. I have witnessed this live. I was shocked to my marrows then, about 4 years ago not to even talk of now. Intact they come in batches and the batch that comes around 7am will not meet any food again

I'm grateful to God I have enough to eat, send money to my parents, carry big ass girls when I feel like and buy my ordinary loud and sometimes Canada loud when I feel like . God thank you and I pray you Continue to do more for me. But I made a vow earlier this year never to help or assist any body I know supported or is still supporting tinibu, even if I see you are dying . The truth is that people need to be very ruthless and wicked towards people who support bad government,so that next election cycle they will have little sense even if not complete Sense.
