Tinubu's Hypocrisy Vs Nigeria's Political Cognitive Dissonance by Bebigiby1(op):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lL63FY5_18

Watching the video, one point made by the narrator that everyone can agree on is the fact that Tinubu and other politicians running his government don't care about Nigerians....

Tinubu and his political looting gang will continue to spend frivolously on themselves and their children living abroad while deceiving Nigerians that they are implementing "economic reforms" no one knows when or if it will yield any positive results.... The earlier Nigerians wake from this deception the better.... Nigeria's economy can not recover from the continued implementation of Tinubu's harsh callous policies of floating the naira and removing subsidies without any cushion.... The total collapse and implosion of the economy is imminent as the high cost of living is now unbearable for many.

Since everyone can not leave (Japa) Nigeria, it is time for the people to tell themselves the truth which is that Nigeria can not work in it's current form. The deep rooted tribal and religious hateful sentiments of the majority will never allow justice to reign, it will always ensure that evil incompetent politicians gain and consolidate power over the people.... This is why the people must rise to demand for the decentralization and restructuring of Nigeria's political landscape to devolve political power and allocate 100% resource control to regions/states as Nigeria has a foundational problem. Nigerians are distrustful, they are deeply divided along tribal and religious grounds, no genuine progress can be made through the current "democratic" centralized federal system of governance that is been practiced in Nigeria.... Sadly, this centralized Abuja political power structure has been one of the main factor fuelling division among the people as Tinubu has overtime weaponized tribalism through his continuous flagrant disregard for federal character, he has continued to appoint mainly his "Yoruba friends" into sensitive offices of the government against complains of Nigerians from other tribes.

Many Nigerians are still foolishly hopeful that Tinubu will grant them a fair election in 2027 to vote him out. Just as I said in my previous thread, waiting to vote out this evil APC government in 2027 elections is only a waste of time as the election result has already been decided, Tinubu's plans for 2027 has already been set in motion....As long as Tinubu is president and compromised institutions like INEC and the judiciary are in his pocket, nothing positive will come from participating in 2027 election.... If Nigerians truly want to move the country forward, only a revolution that will ensure the decentralization and restructuring of the country's political landscape to devolve political powers and ensure 100% resource control to regions/states can guarantee a lasting prosperity for the people of Nigeria.... This is the only way forward....

Bat had no plan for Nigeria beyond becoming president for bragging rights and enriching himself further.

On the economic reforms, bat is just playing games and as long as he and his cronies continue to enjoy the trappings of power, they cannot appreciate what the masses are going through.

There is this proverb about the mosquito & the scrotum. When the mosquito lands on a part of the body, the human slaps it away as a solution to eliminate the blood sucking pest. But when the mosquito landed on the man's scrotum, he realised that there are less violent ways of chasing away the mosquito.

My point is that because the political office holders have put in place things, legally & illegally, to insulate themselves from the effects of harsh economic policies, they believe the masses must suffer. Assuming the political office holders were forced to survive on only thier salaries like every other Nigerian and thier access to illicit wealth blocked, they would realise that there are better ways to implement reforms without putting heavy burdens on the masses.

Imagine bat & other political office holders whose feeding, transportation, utility bills, security, medical bills etc are FULLY subsidised telling the masses to endure hardship and removing subsidies.
It is morally wrong and unfair to subject a person to a situation which you caused yourself and would never do to yourself.

The want to do tax reforms. Good. But how sincere are they? Can bat tell Nigerians what business and assets he has? Can he tell Nigerians how much tax he pays? Can he tell Nigerians how and when he acquired his assets? What business or investments does he have that he owns a private jet? Same goes to almost all other political office holders. The reforms should start from them. Transparency!!!

Look at insecurity. Look at political office holders and thier cronies carrying armed security around. If that is stopped and security restricted to the president, vice and one or two other sensitive positions, violent crime on the scale we have in nigeria will reduce by at least 80% because when the politicians know that they would also be at risk of attack by the thugs they arm for elections, they would ensure that security is taken seriously.

Look at even construction of roads. Now the government is promoting cement for road construction while neglecting the obvious correlation between that and increase in cement prices. Cement companies now prioritise sale to road construction companies leading to a significant increase in cement prices. Meanwhile, Nigeria has the 4th or 5th largest bitumen deposit in the world. The bitumen in Ondo and edo state can tar every single existing road in nigeria 3 times over. If that bitumen is tapped, not only would it create massive job opportunities, it would reduce the cost of road construction, put less pressure on cement, give increased revenue at both federal and state levels, lead to reduction in prices of bitumen related by-products which would in turn help reduce costs of house construction etc.

But no, the government refuses to think outside the box because the are insulated from the consequences of thier rubbish reforms.

Tinubu and his government don't care.... He will continue to deceive Nigerians with his fake "economic reforms" and propaganda until Nigeria's economy is totally destroyed if majority of Nigerians fold their arms and continue to do nothing.....

Nothing good comes from lies, the worst thing you can do to yourself is to lie to yourself just because of temporary selfish gains you're enjoying from the government....
