Saving and not investing! They don't know that subsidy is an incentive to production. Deflate this amount saved against current inflationary pressure resulting from removal of subsidy, and you will realise that we just made 1 step forward and 5 steps backward.

The CBN has been doing all it can to remove it. It will take a few years more to achieve.

It is very easy if FG diversify the economy, remove export restrictions on agricultural products, reduce the minimum wage in naira, decapitalize commercial banks for massive forex earnings. The volume in circulation will only reduce when Nigeria earns more forex.
