I do not agree that each car can carry 65 bags of rice. If Soyombo said mini trucks, then that would be understandable. Did he make an error or he did not understand it all?

Hopefully this APC government can allow rice import once again, so that the price of rice can reduce in the markets.

Rice is not cheap in Benin, there is now a high import levy on Rice coming into Nigerian ports, so the rice is shipped into Benin ports and smuggled into Nigeria. That was the reason Buhari closed the border for 3 years.

Was there a border closure policy ? If the answer is yes that is all you or I need address.

The enforcement of said policy is not something I can confidently discuss with absolute authority and I doubt you can either.
