Bb007:
Please is anyone here using a solar water pump or have installed one. I am looking at installing one in an area with no light to pump water, but i can't find much information online.

Compared to setting up a small inverter system to pump the water, which will be cheaper if one is working on a budget?
If you have any idea on connecting solar panels, connecting a solar pump is easy. It has a control box. Just follow the instructions on the accompanying leaflet to connect.

It's best you buy the pump that has capacity to use AC, just in the event you need water when there is no sun. Buy appropriate solar panels to match the size of pump.

In the attached pictures, one is DC only, the other type of pump can do with both AC and DC.

Nah, but most use Yohako, because it's affordable and kind of seem to work.

But if you want genuine rugged time tested features buy Grundfos, Franklin etc. but they they are pretty much more expensive.

They are durable
Cost should be around 800-900k
For brands I cannot say much about it, but I mostly install Myhome

The budget is approximately ₦650,000, and the goal is to power a setup that includes a deep freezer (60W with a starting power of around 120W), a TV (130W), and rechargeable fans (60W when charging and 15W during use). During the day, the system should support charging the fans and running the deep freezer, while in the evening, it should power around 10 LED lights (5W each, totaling 50W), the TV, and the fans when in use, the water pumping machine will be used only when there is power from the main supply.
Apart from getting the hybrid inverter and extra panels, hope u kept funds for protective devices for the hybrid as its fragile compared to the transformer based 1kva u were using.

Hello engineers,

https://www.fouanistore.com/ng/en/product/growatt-55kwh-lithium-ion-battery

Can this battery work with 48v inverter?

Inverter is Growatt SPF 3500 ES Hybrid
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Haykay2001: 5:15pm On Nov 11, 2024
Yes it does for the main time..

Just plan to change the battery to lifepo4 anytime baba God provide for you.

May baba God continue to bless you. 👍

"I'm seeking advice on upgrading my mother's solar power setup on a limited budget. She lives in an area with an unreliable power supply. Currently, she has 3 × 100W solar panels, a 220Ah tubular battery, and a 1kVA inverter that needs repairs. Due to the worsening power situation, I'm considering upgrading to a 2kVA Sako hybrid inverter and replacing the existing panels with 3 × 550W panels while reusing the 220Ah battery.
Does this approach seem reasonable given the budget constraints?
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Haykay2001: 5:16pm On Nov 11, 2024
What type of pwm is that pls.. Kindly share the picture.. Thanks ✌️

Ithream:
Oh interesting. It’s a LifePO4 battery and I have changed the “battery type” settings from “5-3.2” to “4-3.2” I.e for a LifePo4 battery, and right now the error is gone. But I guess I have done this b4 and the error managed to come back then. I am still novice to Solar anyways.

If this fault is from the PWM controller or battery I can’t really tell too.

130w tv? If its all this recent LED tv, just reduce the back light, it should go to around 30 to 50w if not lesser..

I hadn’t considered that before. The connection to the panels currently has a circuit breaker, but no other protective devices. What additional protective devices would you recommend for this setup?
