I can't deny that connections may have influenced the appointment of oshiomole son but if one must examine that CV, you can't deny that he is qualified on paper for that role, he has a master's in environmental health and an equally respectable post grad diploma from Harvard.
If there was ever a CV made for leadership in public service that's it right there.

The state attorney also has a respectable CV.

Best of luck to Edo state, it is one of the states that are underperforming and need to step up if the country would chart a new voyage

I don't know where he comes from.Honestly,the guy is very strange to me.I just checked from Google where is was the person that went to pick form for the governor at the APC national headquarters.He his obviously a very close confidant of the governor,that is not known in benin.About 3 weeks ago, somebody told me that the party has seceded the ssg position to the governor and i didn't really believe him.

Cyril was based in the United States when his father was governor. I
don't know if he has relocated back to Nigeria permanently.I started seeing him after the governor won the last election.Its obviously a slot for his father.I think he was even nominated recently,for a federal government board,even though I am not so sure about this.

And to your earlier comment that other are qualified also, but it is the perogative of the governor to appoint individuals who are qualified but with whom he can relate, I'm not going to go looking for someone who I have no prior knowledge of when there are adequate individuals within my network who worked for my success. No one does that, once you hit the professional circle you'll realise most jobs placements are filled based on networking.
