So because he was released the same day means that the murder of the poor, defenceless baby should go unpunished? Did you read where they said the child died 6 months later or are you purposely dumb!

To those excusing this crime on the ground that it might be mental illness, please give your head a big wobble. Mental illness or not he must be caught and then he can explain himself in court and if found guilty be jailed. I can assure you that man will be killed by his fellow inmates. He was not charged for first degree murder , when he was arrest . He was charged for abuse or inflicting injuries. The child was still alive at the hospital.
After he was released. He fled the next day. But the child later died ....that was when the first degree murder case came to be.
