Greater number of Nigerians can nomore afford to buy any of the kg(s).

This is not technology nor innovation. Its a sign that there's danger of impeding hunger:

This is one of the ripple effects of bad form of administration.

Keep shut and go and farm.

You can't pray yourself into prosperity just the way you can't pity yourself out of poverty.

Nigeria is a capitalist state and not a socialist, so your survival and successes depends on the risk and opportunity you take out of every situation.

While people are taking positions to cultivate rice, lazy youth like you is complaining and blaming the government, for your responsibility, you can't even see the ingenuity of the entrepreneur that repackage the rice into smaller sachet. Free yourself from poverty mentality

Zero sense
If everyone becomes a farmer, who will then do other works and services for the nation?
Is he equally supposed to stop the insecurity threatening farmers in the country?
What of unaffordable farm inputs that boast production?

I keep wondering how most of you praise singers reason, many livestock farms have shut down due to astronomical prices of feed and you are here proudly vomiting nonsense when you may even be as hungry as others

One thing I sense from you is that 100k is like 1B in your eyes, hence, the nonsense comments and responses you constantly drop here.

So many rich men into production are shutting down yet the interest in their business loans keep on accumulating with no sign of hope in sight, such person can worth billions but now suffering hardship due to uncertainty

Most civil servants I know now live on massive loans, retails small scale shops now are overburdened by debt from customers, this affects their business

I don tire for you and your ilks,
Unfortunately, going through your previous records, one can easily confirm that you are poorly educated.

The ravaging insecurity, high cost of farm utilities, high cost of fuel, and reduced purchasing power of consumers are chasing farmers out of production.

And, like someone pointed out, everyone cannot be a farmer. Even if you imply farming for one's feeding only as opposed to commercial farming, not everyone has the necessary factors of production to do this.

Further, it's amazing how people come online and attack others, in most cases, in an abusive manner. I'm not sure if you know the person you quoted offline, or if you know what he does offline. You simply assumed a few things about him and fired on. I've read your post completely, and all your points could have been delivered respectfully.

Well, na wetin we dey see for internet and its faceless fora.

The government of the day has failed...just like the governments that were in power before today. We must agree on this. Nigeria is blessed with creatives, but has the government created the enabling environment for them to function?

Look at the case of kidnapping. I can assure you that nobody is safe in our country. Health workers, doctors in particular, are scared....and patients are taking the heat. Offshore engineers are not left out either. Bankers are constantly at risk of being victims of armed robbery....

Today's Nigeria is chaotic, families are perishing, and it's highly likely that you know this.

The industrialized societies we we often talk about are productive because their governments provided means to support production. They have steady electricity, the necessary machineries are easily available, their systems work.

Let's stop attacking each other. The government has a lot to answer.

You have no sense otherwise you would have used this spare time of yours to seek for one.

A positive mind repackaged rice into smaller bags but a lazy mind like you and your fellow dullard can't appreciate the ingenuity of the brand but very quick to blame government, lazy and foolish soul better relocate to country where government feed the people, but here in Nigeria, a capitalist state is a survival of the fittest, you can pity your poverty life into oblivion, na your wahala.

When all you see is negativity, then there's danger. As there are challenges in the nation so also there are opportunities, you are at liberty to see whatever you chose to see.

People are breaking records and making new highs but a defeated mind will always complain and blame government.

If foreigners are coming to tap into our opportunity and cashing out big time, it will be foolishness if you sit idle without engaging in productive venture to create the world you desire.

Nairaland should rid itself of almajiri minds who cry and blame government for their failure

Well, I don't see negativity only in our society.

The foreigners you mentioned: they come in as expatriates, they are given special security (your countrymen that can even assault you on their behalf), given special conditions, and are treated as gods. These foreigners come in with their currencies that are significantly heavier than our naira, and this exponentially increases their purchase ability.

How many ordinary Nigerians enjoy special security and conditions foreigners enjoy?

I am productive in the space I operate in. Millions of Nigerians are productive too. But guess what? We are all under-productive. Our outputs would have been much more if things were a little bit better.

Just like we have millions of productive Nigerians, there are millions that are not...and this is no fault of theirs. Being productive in our country has become a rare privilege, honestly. There are minds with great ideas but can't transit these ideas to actions because they lack the means. How many people have the capital to start a SME? How many people can access government loans? Even if you find some money to start, incessant taxations (agberos and all that) and corruption may drive you off the business.

My posts are not excuses for laziness; rather, they are an exposition of the realities on ground. We must come to this knowledge and hold the government responsible while maximizing the potential of the private citizen.

Somebody up there is saying packing sachet rice (similar to Indomie super pack and not building the machineries) sizes is INGENUITY.

So, creating room for influx of I-pass-my-neighbor is an innovative solution to our power problem.

Over-taxing multinationals and traders to buy more presidential jets is high level brainwork.

Imprisoning teenagers who protested against bad governance while terrorists roam freely is such a painstakingly strategy to curb insecurity.

Any kid that can be competitive at playing chess can outdo such a brain.

Such a brain should be upgraded from 1970s to at least 2000s.
