Why can't you be truthful for once? Quote the verse out and point out where John said Jesus was crucified at the 6th hour.

John 19:14-15

"14 And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!

15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.
"

Where did John saw in the verses above that Christ was crucified in the 6th hour?

And also state how the 6th hour occured during the crucification as narrated by Mathew and Luke.

Where have I not being truthful before? You are the one who haven't been truthful saying everything is true even when it is clear it isn't!

So about the 6th hour is when?

Just tell us when Jesus was crucified! Marry all the verses together as you usually do!

When a case is decided may differ from when punishment is served but the truth remains that once the whole people has spoken with one voice before the governor Jesus has been executed from the viewpoint of intellectuals.

The case was decided about the 6th hour in John! So it can be said he was crucified on or after the 6th hour.

Mark says he was crucified on the third hour!

Mark was talking about the time Jesus was nailed to the stake but John was talking about the time that decision was made so going by the law both of them are right because it will take a miracle to change what has been decided upon.

Yes he was nailed by the 3rd hour (9am) in Mark! In John he was brought out to the crowd about the 6th hour (noon 12pm).

How do you reconcile these two?

John was an eye witnesses of everything. Whatever you don't understand about what others wrote, go find your answers with John.

John did not just write but was instructed by other disciples to commit the life of Jesus into writing so that people can get clarity since several hundreds of people were churning out books about Jesus. After John wrote, his records were cross-checked and certified by other disciples.

While the other gospel writers wrote what they wrote in their zeal to have the history of Jesus recorded, they gathered information from various people. They were never eye witnesses. They recorded the events truthfully as they knew them to be. These recorded events give us a glimpse into the life of Jesus and His sayings but salvation is solely dependent on Jesus alone. Not on the letters of the Bible.

How did John miss the transfiguration of Jesus if it was written by an eye witness?
The transfiguration was only recorded by mark...or it that not a significant event??
Why?
Waiting patiently for your response.

The only answer that is plausible is that the anonymous authors where making things up as they moved along and where not writing an actual event.
They also missed the last word of Jesus on the cross.. Goes to show, it is just the handwork on people who are uneducated...my opinion.

Even John said He didn't write everything that happened in Jesus's life on earth. He wrote what he remembered as at the time he was writing.

Mark wrote about the transfiguration, and Peter also spoke about it later in one of his epistles.

So it was not a significant event to John for him to forget about it. And Mark said it was Peter James and John that was there...such an event should have featured predominantly in John's account....but alas, it's not there...me think all these Gospels was written by anonymous authors.

If John didn't feature it, it's because it didn't come to his mind AT THE TIME HE WAS WRITING. If you've ever written a book , you'll understand. Was Mark lying? If mark was lying, Peter would not have independently mentioned the event much later in his epistles. Even Peter didn't provide details. The Gospel is not for show.

"16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount."

The Gospel of John was the last of the Gospels written over 50 years after Jesus left this world! Is this what you are telling me to go and find my answers in? Even if you are told to narrate a story that happened 50 years ago when you are around 70 how much accuracy will you still possess? And Matthew met Jesus in Matthew 9:9. Though the reporting suggests Matthew was not the one writing!

Of course now. He was actively practicing what he knew of Jesus during those 50yrs. Are you telling me that someone who studied mathematics 50yrs ago and continued to teach maths for 50yrs after graduation would not be able talk the truth about maths?

John did not only learn Jesus, he practiced Jesus and was a 'Professor' of Jesus for that matter if I might use the word. He knew Jesus both physically and spiritually. A man who walked with Jesus in the flesh for 3 and half years and still walked with Him in the Spirit for 50yrs has a lot to offer about Jesus.

The other disciples instructed John to write, after his writing, they reviewed it and recommended his book as being authentic:

John 21:24

"This disciple is the one who testifies to these events and has recorded them here. And we know that his account of these things is accurate."

Above are not the words of John but the testimony of other disciples after reviewing what John wrote.

Narration of a biography with details and accuracy is different from teaching maths! Stop comparing oranges to Apples!

Practicing Jesus does not stop the Biography written by John to be erroneous! Was John present when Jesus was born till he reached 30? When exactly did John meet Jesus?
So if you claim John is the most right then others should be wrong in what they differ!

The closest report to an event is usually the most authentic but even Mark has it's own errors!

Teaching maths is not different from teaching history or teaching the life of a person as in our context. The point is that John will not forget the life of the person whom he talks about every day for 50yrs.

Practicing Jesus does not stop the Biography written by John to be erroneous! Was John present when Jesus was born till he reached 30? When exactly did John meet Jesus?
And John didn't write about those days when he was not present with Jesus. Or would you tell me what John wrote about Jesus before 30?

So if you claim John is the most right then others should be wrong in what they differ!
I have told you that if you have any confusion, go to John for clarification.

The closest report to an event is usually the most authentic but even Mark has it's own errors!
Mark was not an eye witnesses.

Those petty things you hang on don't matter to Christians. They have to matter to Islam because you claim your Quran was descended from heaven and written by Allah. Hence, any human limitations in your Quran like the Mary the sister of Aaron is Jesus mother nonesense or the Samaritan with Moses lies, is enough to disqualify your book.

These are the things that can destroy Christianity:

1. If you can prove that Jesus never died. His death is significant for the purification of our souls.

2. If you can prove that Jesus never resurrected. His resurrection is significant to the redemption of souls.

3. If you can prove that Jesus is not coming back a second time. His return is significant for our eternal rewards and fruits of our salvation.

I have told you that if you have any confusion, go to John for clarification.[quote]John is the most dubious of all! That 5 decades was used to develop and pad up the manuscript!

[quote]Mark was not an eye witnesses. [quote]I never said he was . Luke too wasn't!

It won't matter because of "the letter kills" theory from Paul! I have tried to explain the Prophet's explanation of Mary the sister of Aaron mentioned by Allah in the Qur'an. but since you don't agree. Then that's okay by me. Will i force you to agree when i know you would never agree?

These are the things that can destroy Christianity:

1. If you can prove that Jesus never died. His death is significant for the purification of our souls.
That's why the crucifiction stories doesn't add up! You have to add everything and minus some to get something meaningful. And the majority lies on faith!

2. If you can prove that Jesus never resurrected. His resurrection is significant to the redemption of souls.
We believe Jesus was raised up body and Soul protecting him temporarily from death till a later time!

3. If you can prove that Jesus is not coming back a second time. His return is significant for our eternal rewards and fruits of our salvation.
He will come back! And when he comes he will deny his death, the cross and Christianity! He will be antichristian as he was not a Christian nor started it!
