The refusal rate For Canada visa is alarming and extreme high now ..l dey fear to even reapply now !

Pls for those who applied before the automatic cancellation of 10year visit visa will they still get the maximum entry or will the cancelllation rule also applied to them.

No,the rule come into effect immiediately so far you have not gotten a decision yet.

Good morning house,

I have a valid US visit visa and I submitted my application for Canada V V on 30th of October 2024.
Biometrics request mail was sent same day and I did my biometrics on 1st of November.
I got a mail today (13th Nov) to submit my passport.
please am I supposed to book an appointment on the VFS website or I can just walk into their Abuja office to submit my passport. I can only see the option to book an appointment for biometrics on their website so I am a bit confused.

His case isn’t different. It’s usually that way with people with US visas, although I’ve seen instances where it took a while. Did you have the visa when you applied or you got it after you applied for the visa? Have you ever been refused by Canada?

are you not following the news in Canada. Surely all the reduction in immigration numbers are starting to have an impact. Also many of those that got visiting last year have filled for asylum. Bonanza don end

i used the old portal, Is there any problem with the old portal?

I think thats why, someone told me that the new portal is faster if you have US visa

My wife and I both have US visas, Infact we have been issued US visas together 6 times

i have the visa when i applied, I got the US visa in June and i applied in July

I have been refused Canada visa in 2020 during covid, it was a general bad market at that time, but this time, My sister who is a canadian citizen invited us

That’s probably why it’s taking forever.

No, it should be processed within their stated processing time. We were talking about a different situation entirely.

We are a family of 4. We did our biometrics Oct 4. Today I got a mail asking me to upload the bank statement of my wife. Please what could be the reason for such request.. Please help.. Thanks

That isn’t true. If the processing time is 187 days, that should be the same for everybody.

My pastor in church gave me 3million to add to my trip and he said I can use his company's account statement to support mine since I'm going with my kids. His company's account is different from the church account but he's the founder of the church.

But the church wants to give me letter of support through the pastor, as a worker and minister. So which letterhead am i suppose to use and what will be the subject? Our pastors company is into construction and I don't have anything to do with the company but the church. The CAC docs has daddy's name and so also the church's docs.

Can they just combine the letter under church's letterhead mentioning the pastors company??

What do I do pls? I just want to use his account to support mine. The wife is the one handling the church a/c but he has his own coy

I have valid US visa but I added my statement of account to my application, any problem?, I never thought there was no need.
I did my biometric on 31st October 2024.
