Back in the old days as a man, your children looking exactly like you already means your wife is faithful but now it's a different ball game. The kids can look like you physically but biologically they may belong to one of your cousins so yes DNA is required at all times just to be sure.

Your phenotype is a physical representation of your genotype, every single physial feature you have is a representation of your DNA. For your child to look EXACTLY like you, that means s/he inherited some of these genes off your features. Except, your wife cheated with a close member of your family who you shared genes with, a child that looks exactly like you is 100% yours.

My worry is not the DNA test but the fact that crooked labs will start capitalising of the gullibility of average Nigerians and start running fake tests.

Can’t find the screenshot but something like this happened. The child belonged to another man.

Pregnancy draws from so many factors; psychological factors, the emotions of the mother, the environment,The person she sleeps most with ,so many things can imprint. Consider it like a blank state with basic details. There’s a reason so many rules existed for pregnant women in the past in traditional settings. But as usual we’ve forgotten the why and see it as ceremonial stuff.

So yes, the child might look like you but not belong to you. Only DNA can truly confirm.

A woman can also give birth to twins and they belong to different fathers.

Same question I’m asking myself. My son looks exactly like me, there was I time I took my son and wife to my village for the first time, a random woman saw us, the first thing she said was this child must be James (my father) child. I look exactly like my father

If your child regardless if your baby mama or wife give birth to your child or children. Your children is a carbon copy of you or strongly resemble you or look exactly like you or a family member. Willl do a DNA to confirm?
