FBI arrests alleged leaker of US intelligence documents related to Israel’s attack plans against Iran

The Justice Department has charged a man for allegedly leaking highly classified US intelligence about Israel’s plans for retaliation against Iran, according to court documents and a person familiar with the case.

Asif W. Rahman was indicted last Thursday for willfully retaining and transmitting national defense information, according to court documents. He was arrested Tuesday in Cambodia and will first appear in court in Guam, though the department has asked a federal judge to move him to Virginia to stand trial.

Rahman was employed by the CIA, according to a person familiar with his employment. Court documents indicate he was employed by the US government.

Rahman held a top secret security clearance and could access sensitive compartmentalized information.

The New York Times first reported Rahman’s indictment.

The documents were posted by a Telegram account in mid-October called “Middle East Spectator.” They are marked top secret and have markings indicating they are meant to be seen only by the US and its “Five Eyes” allies — Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

CNN previously reported that one of the documents, which says it was compiled by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, discussed a plan involving Israel moving munitions. The other, which says it is sourced to the National Security Agency, outlines Israeli Air Force exercises involving air-to-surface missiles.

One of the documents also suggests something that Israel has always declined to confirm publicly: that the country has nuclear weapons. The document says the US has not seen any indications that Israel plans to use a nuclear weapon against Iran.

(1) How long has Tinubu being CIA asset?

(2) What kind of work does he do for CIA?

(3) When did CIA become so childish that they start revealing the identities of their assets? Even from American movies, CIA takes extreme measures to protect their assets. For example, they gave a fat-looking woman about US$100,000 to pose as a humanitarian agent in Borno State. Her brief was to gather intelligence and report to the CIA. If you even see the girl, you won't believe she was an asset.

(4) If Tinubu was CIA asset, why did he forfeit money to FBI? Since when do CIA assets forfeit funds to FBI? Does this even make sense? Which CIA would allow FBI "humiliate" their agent like that?

(5) Notice a pattern. First, it was claimed Tinubu did not graduate from CSU. When Atiku went there to prove the claim, Atiku found out he graduated and proceeded to claim he forged a certificate. When that failed, Atiku is yet to recover. Now they are claiming he is CIA asset. Where is the proof? What has he done privately or publicly to protect US interests in Nigeria? David Hundeyin has not proved any, but he wants you to believe.

(6) But one thing is clear. Tinubu ran the 2023 campaign in a ruthless CIA style. Remember he was not wanted by Buhari, APC hierarchy, and Osinbajo. Single-handedly, Tinubu "collected" the APC ticket. He floored Buhari, Osinbajo, APC chairman and the senate president to win that ticket. He took a further punch by picking a Muslim running mate from Kanuri, not even the largest voting bloc in Nigeria, and still went on to win the entire Northern region against a Northern candidate. Then we went into campaigns. He made an infamous "emilokan" speech which could have ruined his chances. He challenged the sitting president and CBN governor over the naira repainting scheme, while the other contenders were afraid, like chickens inside freezer. The likes of Daniel Bwala started leaking secrets to the press that some APC governors were working for Atiku. Bwala had decamped from APC to PDP and Atiku quickly gave him a prominent role, without considering the risks. He did't consider that Bwala was a mole. Governor Abdullai Sule of Nasarawa had to grant an interview to deny that some APC governors were not with Tinubu. Sources confided that some APC governors wanted to work for Atiku, but were shocked that Bwala blew their plans to the public. After Tinubu won, Bwala has visited him up to 4 times. Na'ajatu Muhammed also said things that made the Atiku campaign a complete joke. She said Tinubu could not hold a teacup. How did that help Atiku? She had also decamped to PDP from APC. Kenneth Okonkwo also said a load of horseshit that badly exposed the LP, including inciting Muslims against the Obi ticket. Kenneth decamped from APC to LP. No one has reasoned that these guys were moles planted by someone, CIA style. Who leaked the infamous "Yes daddy" phone call between Obi and David Oyedepo? Who leaked the phone call between Charly Boy, Obasanjo and Duke when they Charly Boy was begging Obasanjo for permission to protest? How come Obasanjo fell in line and visited Tinubu's wife during last big sallah? Anyway, someone made a deal with Wike and G5 no one saw coming. Same someone did everything to keep Obi in the race. Look at the current crisis in PDP and LP. Sounds familiar? Why is PDP so helpless to fix their house? How was the opposition crippled in Lagos State for 20 years? I am not saying Tinubu is CIA asset, I am saying that he should not be underrated. Two protests against him failed woefully right before our eyes. He has mastered the art of ruthless politicking and strategy, and that needs to be studied. If he is CIA asset, Hundeyin would have disappeared since. Hundeyin is no threat to him, but to the intellect of the gullible.
