In Some cultures the child will never be yours if you don't marry the lady or vice versa as for me you just have to man up and expect any shit not just following crowd because someone choose to be stupid. A child can't be your photocopy and belong to another man. A child that resemble you must have shared your DNA. Your direct siblings share about 50% or upto 60% of your DNA, while your cousins, uncle, grandparents and other half siblings might shared 25% or upto 35%. That is why sometimes our children may look like any member of our family.

If your child doesn't resemble you, your wife or any person in your lineage, just know such child might not be yours.

Your phenotype is a physical representation of your genotype, every single physial feature you have is a representation of your DNA. For your child to look EXACTLY like you, that means s/he inherited some of these genes off your features. Except, your wife cheated with a close member of your family who you shared genes with, a child that looks exactly like you is 100% yours.

My worry is not the DNA test but the fact that crooked labs will start capitalising of the gullibility of average Nigerians and start running fake tests.

Be that the case your worries are not VALID, most people that go for DNA test run @least double test from different lab esp. when the result are not favourable

Beside DNA labs are under high scrutiny cos it service is higly "sensational" ... breaching the code of ethics the risk no worth am

There is nothing wrong with DNA and I have no problem with it. It is a very bad thing for a woman to do and I wouldn't know what punishment is enough for such. However, I find it funny that some of you go about suggesting it to others when you haven't started it in your families.
