This is breath-taking. If it's underused, I think it's because it's new. Not yet as popular as Ijora, Iju, etc stations. |

I used it 3 weeks ago and I was asking same question. I boarded the 7:30 am train and we were only 2 passengers that boarded as at that time. I think it has to do with the cost compared to using the road. It costs about 500 to Marina while a bus fare is 300 to Marina. Also the distance from Costain to the train station in itself is a long walk for some people. If there's any reason to use it from the National Theater, it's to beat traffic regardless of the distance or cost. |

What a question? Can you please point out what economic or commercial activity that happens at that location and the frequency of it? You'd find your answers from there. Or do you expect hungry and busy people to go there and start dancing because the station needs to be utilized? |

Artiiclebeast:I don't think you understand the context of the question. If you make use of the train, you'll also ask same question. |

Lol... Nigeria as a country doesn't know how to position infrastructure to meet target. Like that train station they are building to Niger abi chad. Lol Meanwhile they neglected the ever busy and lucrative Eastern rail lines. |

Esthered:I'm sure I do understand the context of the question. Supposing I'm on the train and heading either way, will I get off at the National theater stop just because of its aesthetics and for it to seem to be utilized even when there is nothing for me to do there? I'm very sure that people who are in the theatre business, events and etc. already do use it as needed. |

We need Railway from East to Lagos and Abuja. It will reduce travel time, costs and minimize risks. |
