You spoke my mind. Not all women are as bad as being portrayed. The level of trust between a man and his wife will determine whether to do DNA or not.

Be that the case your worries are not VALID, most people that go for DNA test run @least double test from different lab esp. when the result are not favourable

Beside DNA labs are under high scrutiny cos it service is higly "sensational" ... breaching the code of ethics the risk no worth am

DNA is not for average Nigerians, we rather use traditional means to settle it

You're essentially that Nigeria, a country filled with criminally minded people are absolutely incapable of carrying out fake tests for profits? You're saying people are running double tests to the tune of hundreds of thousands of naira, how many Nigerians can afford that. How many labs are even well equipped to carry out these tests? If that doesn't bother you, it bothers me. I know what corrupt Nigerians are capable of

By the time DNA technology is introduced into criminal investigations of crimes like assault, rape, murder etc (which I hope will be soon). Trust me, you men will be very concerned about the efficacy of the tests. In fact, you will suddenly start seeing the "evil" in DNA.

FIY, i grew up in a medical environment, i am observance and i follow news alot ... i dont need to be "omnipresent" to know dna clients double check ... do i have to explain logical cos you are a woman

If you have an idea of the how inflammable DNA test result can be and the class of Nigerians that opt for DNA you wont posit labs will just serve any result other than the truth. 98% of DNA results are subjected to re check by victims and the lab cant stop it

DNA lab market is for the rich, therefore whoever is setting up one knows it must be well equipped and standard

If you have no skeleton in your cupboard you shouldnt be worried, never is there any record of two labs conniving to falsify a result. go n verify

For your child to look EXACTLY like you, that means s/he inherited some of these genes off your features. Except, your wife cheated with a close member of your family who you shared genes with, a child that looks exactly like you is 100% yours.

My worry is not the DNA test but the fact that crooked labs will start capitalising of the gullibility of average Nigerians and start running fake tests.

Is a lie .. with the huge cost of doing DNA . I don't think they'll have a need to do a fake test ..
