God1000:True, Dollar has risen ten fold against the naira. The budget should be in the 200 trillion range at ok least with efficiency. |

Pascal9:With the kind of population we have, Nigeria's federal budget should be nothing less than 150-200 billion dollars if we want to witness any meaningful developments. Nigeria is seriously overpopulated. |

Basiljoe:LOL. An Obident thinking he's smart while others are not, supporting a governor his people cûrsed for 8 years while he was governor without a blue print for growth is sensible while others are delusional. If projecting urself on others makes u feel good, it's ok. |

The proposed 47.9 trillion Naira budget is substantial. Hopefully, it will yield meaningful development and progress across various sectors, without succumbing to embezzlement. |

So Naija Budget has officially entered Trillion, to the point of appropriating #47 Trillion. Naija and Zimbabwe may be the first countries to hit Quadrillion and zillion on this planet with the way both countries are competing. 🙆🏾♂️🙆🏾♂️🙆🏾♂️ |

That is an expansionary budget that may likely be a deficit one. It will be interesting to find out how it eill be funded becuasr aurely, Niheria is not earning in that range. If its by more taxes then it will be dead on arrival otherwise it would mean more borrowings They are clueless. Nigerians are on the long road |

God1000:Smh. That you think N47.9 trillion is no longer big money alone shows that you are not rich. Go and work hard to raise N1 million first then come back. Even by USA standard, $28 billion is a whopping amount and if you think that US dollars is actually gaining more value because of naira's devaluation then it means that you don't understand economics. If USD is as strong and valuable as you think, Americans will not have voted against the democrats on the ground of economics. They complained bitterly that they now need more dollars to buy items and pay for services. The devaluation of naira does not improve the lot of USA or the US dollars, the US is not even our biggest trading partner, it actually favours naira more and we now eventually stopped subsidizing the US dollars. International Monetary agencies will later come around to beg us to raise the value of the naira as more US dollars will soon start chasing fewer naira yet we will keep the value of naira low to further favour our economy. In the long run, most of the US dollars flowing into Nigeria won't return to the US and the portion that goes out ends up in countries other than the US yet you are under the illusion that N47.9 trillion that's made artificially cheap, is not big. Smh. |

JagabanBorgu:What is the wisdom of applauding T-Pain's master plan that grew Lagos budget over 50 times since 1999 but failed to grow the civil service to improve services, amenities and utilities accordingly? Maybe the wisdom of Stockholm syndrome mental slaves ![]() The lack of state-owned pipe-borne water in the homes of Lagos residents has continued to be a source of concern, a non-profit group, Corporate Accountability and Public Advocacy Africa (CAPPA) has said. obonujoker: |
