I'm new to this platform, but I've been following for years without registering an account.

Please I need your expertise.

After resigning from my job, I'm planning to start my own business with ₦4 million I've saved over the years.

Objective:

- Relocate to a state with low cost of living (i am staying in Enugu where i currently squat with someone)
- Rent a modest apartment and business space
- Start business in a viable market

States under consideration: Benue, Ebonyi, Edo

Key concerns:

1. Affordable house rent
2. Reasonable shop rent in major markets
3. Low cost of food
4. Transportation expenses

Can anyone recommend the best state (or alternative options) for my business venture, considering these factors? Due to the current inflation in the country i am trying to see how best i can manage that funds

Your valuable insights will be greatly appreciated.

Also any advice will be greatly appreciated as well.

You have done well Nnwanne. I advice mtiple states. Find out how to buy yams in bulk in Benue and be selling it to market women in Ebonyi and Enugu states
