It's divers at various places..
One time we were receiving fenders onboard ship, Lagos waters and the storm came rumbling but we still managed to get the job done...then again at Lome waters,omoh,we could see the turbulent winds with our nakkd eyes and we had to stay put, hanging onto whatever solid structure near you! Nobody dared move for about 30mins!


God is indeed great.

I heard this is exactly the same type of Cruise Ship that Tinubu just bought. I wish this was his.

I find it very strange when complete novice speak as though they are authorities.
first off, passenger ships are most safe ship whilst at sea as they have several counter rolling and heeling mechanism and good dual pitch prop system coupled with thruster, engineered with azipod controls making it extremely difficult to topple them.
The writer of this made no attempt to provide evidence of his claims, a tilt of 45 degree can only be achieved in serious freak weather condition which is easily forecasted n reported in ecgs, navtex, facsimiles and radio broadcast ....Beaufort force 10-12 basically gale storm or hurricane...and the only way to know tilt or rolling is with device known as inclinometer which can only be found in critical nav related locations e.g Bridge, capt office, ecr etx. bw Tenerife, Las Palmas and the islands of the canary places ive stoped over several times for quick vsl repairs which is located just above lat 15 to 25 degree N of equator which isnt active region for tropical depression that is primarily responsble for wind in such stom force or sea scale, that may generate susch critical roll. Stability speaking since there are no balast to restore uprightness almost any vsl would likely capsize as g get to almost over take M.

I am not saying there was no roll, but deff not 45degree rolling

Nature is powerful but this is why you should never compromise quality, if the cruise ship was made with substandard materials, that would have been the end of the ship and its passengers .

Exactly! Was watching a program showing how one of these giant cruise ships was built, and they mentioned the sophisticated balancing mechanism that prevents the ship from tipping over due to heavy waves or buffeting winds. Quite remarkable!

Oh my goodness! That's really scary and nasty. I detest the air turbulence as well as oceanic waves and stuff.

because life in the western world can be boring (assuming you have a great source of income from one job) so you need to seek out ways to engage in activities that would occupy your time. Everything is on auto- constant electricity, smart household appliances to do chores, even bills are auto-debited and they start to wonder what else to do. They are also mindful of personal boundaries in their relationships so that affect social relations.
That's why they keep dogs, cats, do volunteering etc just to keep busy. A lot also enjoy outdoor life because they were brought up doing outdoor activities eg living on a farm and taking care of many acres of farmlands and farm animals. Sitting in one place will kill them.
