I had the same issue. paid to Gtb,couldnt pick a date in old portal,got migration email in September, stuck on pending request since then (2 months), raised tickets,called ,had chats with AVITS,nothing until i discovered this on the embassy main site some days ago. it was resolved within 2 days by the embassy directly. Make sure you attach all the documents and screenshots, and say if its renewal or normal consulate interview you are trying to schedule. Prayerfuly,it will be resolved by them. i signed up on this group just to share this, because it was very frustrating for me too. All the best.

Pls what did you do because i have similar problem too.... i have paid via Gtb since over couple months now still not able to book appointment and i have lodged complain afterwhich i got to chat with one person from AVITS and since then my complain has been ON HOLD and it's over 2months now... i really do not know what else to do...

is the toddler your only child?..if no your other children have visas?...if yes VO MIGHT HAVE profiled your family as jakpa possibles, hence reapplying soon after when nothing has changed in your circumstances may not achieve much.

My parents had an appointment from the previous provider that was migrated over but showing a past date (sometime in August) and 'Appointment Cancelled' state. I have opened tickets on the AVIT website but not getting response. My parents are based in Osun State, and I see there are OIS offices in Ibadan, Akure, Lagos etc. Can they go to the Ibadan or even the Lagos office with the appointment from the old provider without an AVITS appointment? Thank you.

Yes of course. You should have opportunity for 3 reschedules.

Though in my own case, I rescheduled only once and the system is telling me I can only reschedule only one again. The system has eaten one of my reschedule opportunity .
I raised a ticket to complain about this, but as usual, nothing was done. It's just there, opened.

There are dates in Nov, Dec etc for F1 Visa in Lagos and Feb...above for Abj

If the standard "reset password" option on the AVITS platform isn't functioning as expected for u

here's an alternative method to attempt:

1. Attempt to Sign In: Go through the usual login process three times, even if your password is expired. This will intentionally trigger a lock on your account.

2. Trigger Password Reset After Lock: Once the system has locked your account, initiate a password reset.

3. Check Your Email: At this stage, you should receive an email with a link to reset your password. This method seems to work more reliably for some users, as the locked status may prompt the platform to send a password reset link.

NB: all the old password reset link you sent in the past will all come. Just wait for a while until the last time comes so that way you are choosing the most recent link which has not expired.
