100% of the men following this woman around would get down with her in a heartbeat.

Nothing to see here.
Just the usual hypocritical nonsense from jobless black men with nothing in their brains except the signals they're constantly getting from their dicks.

Shut up
Why are you being so rude to him! You are angry at someone’s dressing when you have zero manners.

Ain't nothing wrong with her dressing bro

Africa is hot a lot of times

The fewer and lighter one's pieces of clothing, the better.
There's nothing wrong with her dressing, why harassing her?? They must be sick in the head.

They were probably bored that day.
Aba that I know would look, but to leave their shops and start following you about like he-goats is a new one. But then, they are quite classist too.
They are not bored, they do this often, and it is not the first time this has been seen online. Aba locals are like barbarians, thankfully, development is reaching Abia.

Shut up, there are tribally bigoted hate-filled souls in every Tribe, you are representing your tribe, so what's the biggie 😁 just do the boring tribal rants your Oluda destined you to do till you will die and go back to the grave and stop crying 😁😁😁.

She can't wear this nonsense in some places in the North, indecency is not a Nigerian concept.
So what happen to the elders around calling her to advise her? Must you m0rons go the barbaric way of correcting indecent dressing

You foools are always quick to defend rubbish yet ugm are killing you imbeciles like rat you can't resist them, na harmeless lady you people dey fling power on. Shameless cretin

Loll so indecency is the best way for a society to move forward??

Should We start mentioning Countries that do not allow Westernization to override their concept for morality and modesty??

I don't support anyone harassing anyone but their argument is that allowing such would negatively pollute their society.

She wouldn't dare dress this way in most places up north, We must be intentional about how society and how We choose to socio-interact with it.
Being liberal is the best bet for a multicultural society like Nigeria. Also, learn to mind your business. What is your business with the way someone dresses? How does that affect you? Also, how can you be using the north as an example? Do you know how many Northerners wished they had as much liberty as us?

See someone with high IQ? You should be living in the zoo
Where did I mention that I was Igbo, mr pea-sized brain? With people like you, Nigeria has no future. The only thing you wake up thinking about is tribalism, then later you wonder why you're still dying of hunger in your rural glorified villages called cities while the white man is exploring space

Just a slight emotional torture and humiliation. Lesson learned.

You have the eyes of an eagle 🦅!
You wander,if this lady just wants to dash across to get something for her households but now being ridiculed and for what precisely!
It's a sign of joblessness, and people should look for better things to do!
She has a shirt on and a nicker and what else do people want because the clothes are not even transparent!
Honestly,we need to be creative!

So, the Ibo women who wore no clothes before the white man were oloshos?
The harassed woman was wearing a burka compared to what her ancestors wore and they were not harassed.

There is no tribalism in Nigeria..

Each tribe in Nigeria has its tribal location and region and some tribes have bigger regions than others.

most Nigerians especially southern Nigerians shout "tribalism" because they are not living in their ethnic region and want to manipulate the system of the region they are living in to favour them.

You don't have to be like them, but you're fighting to go to their lands. Make it make sense. Minding your business is actually one of the easiest things you can do. Why do you have to harass someone even if they're naked? How is it your business?
You dey craze! Why did they then come to africa shebi their side better pass our own. GOD PUNISH YOU AND YOUR PAPA

Why couldn't they mind their business for God's sake, the IQ in that region must be very low

If not for the white men they wouldn't even be wearing so much clothes today, Igbo before the colonial masters came walked around nude, in fact the colonial masters had to make a rule to ban nudity in the same Aba during colonial time, women walked around with breasts out during the time and your ancestors could control themselves and had no problem with it.

Very lazy set of people, look at the multitude of people that neglected their businesses to threw their frustration on a lady, there's nothing wrong with what that lady was wearing but i think they enjoy humiliating women in that region, same way they have different kind of draconic cultural practices and customs for just women. You will see them wailing how Yoruba men are snatching their women, your women just prefer more liberal men with modern mindset not men with primitive and caveman mindset that only want to control and enslave women.
Why go tribal na? Your yorubaland is well known for human rituals and skull mining is this also a sign of being more civilised and enlightened than the igbos u are denigrating here?
Re: Aba Residents Publicly Humiliate Lady Over Her Dressing (Photos) by BrutusOj(m): 12:09pm On Nov 15, 2024
Instead of the woman accompanying her to help her bring down the T-shirt she wore to at least cover her boxer shorts, she just held her waist only. Nudity is becoming a norm in our land. Nipples/cleavages camouflage bum bums everywhere you go these days. You just can't look in the direction of ladies nowadays cos you will be uncomfortable. Most of them are hook up girls stylishly advertising their goods around the streets.

It doesn't matter if she even wears a full Bukr outfit, those iliterate traders will still try and grope her.

They grope women old enough to be their grand mother in Tejosho market here in Lagos.

As I said, the lady protested against one of them groping her and that's when the mob of savages born from baby factories descended on her with insults.

Nah their way.
Terrible!

And that's exactly why this particular lady will NEVER were pant and tshirt to market again.

She has learnt the hard way.

If not for the same western world you wouldn't be wearing so much clothes, check Igbo before the white men came they walked around nude.

There's nothing wrong with what that woman was wearing considering the hot climate and she wasn't going to any professional settings or official events.
Every clime have their way of life. It would have only advamced over time in its own way even without external influence so sfu.

Good afternoon, my daddies, mothers, brothers, and sisters on Nairaland Forum.

Please I need your help.

I'm using this medium to appeal to everyone that comes across this post to consider me, please. I'm not going to lie so I can be pitied, so I'll just be completely honest.

I'm here to beg so I can get something to eat. Any good person should help me with anything he or she can; I'll appreciate any amount, please.

I'm begging everyone in the name of God Almighty. I've exhausted every option I have, and that's why I'm here now. I have not eaten anything since Wednesday evening other than the water that I have been drinking to gain some strength. This is due to the fact that I was evicted from where I was squatting. I have been running helter-skelter looking for where I can get a temporary place to stay.

Please, I am totally broke. I don't have any money; I will appreciate it if anyone can help me with any amount just for me to get something to eat today. Please don't let me die of this hunger! I swear to God Almighty, I've never done this before, and this is the last thing I want to do, but I have no other option now.

Please have mercy on me and help me.

My bank details are:

Bank: Opay
Account Number: 610 483 5216
Account Name: Babatunde Sikiru Yisa

May God Almighty continue to bless you and your family. May you never lack any good things in life. May God Almighty continue to protect you and your family. Amen

I have been crying since morning because I'm just tired of this life. If by 4:00 PM, I don't get help, I will sell my phone. But it will affect me a lot.

Please have mercy on me. I'm not a lazy person, things just suddenly got bad for me. I had a car accident, lose my job and since then, I have been wallowing in hardship. Please may God bless you abundantly, help me with something to buy food. My bank account is empty, please.
