Yes. Islamic Law has changed the North, starting from Zamfara State. It has turned them into havens for bandits, boko haram, almajiris and under-development.

Till today, Persians regret what Islam did to them, their development and their country, part of which is the current day nation of Iran. Despite Persians being the stars of the golden age of Islam, it is a widely acknowledged fact amongst them that Islam set them back seriously.

The truth is that the zealot has not even talked about the kind of change he meant. And change as even we in Nigeria have come to know, does not necessarily imply a good thing.

Islam in general has no place in this 21st century. Saudi, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, etc don't fully follow Islamic laws since their leaders realize that total adherence to it will not bring progress to their countries. We have even heard of a Muslims dominated country banning hijab and many Muslims dressing. Internet and other modern technologies will gradually destroy Islam as they are not compatible
