Why?
Because they are leaders who are in authority!
It's against my belief to criticise them especially publicly.

Wèrèy IMF pretending as if they don't know the original reform is embezzlement... Every other thing is just a slogan to deceive the people for 8 years...

Your citizens can barely feed
Companies posting losses closing down
Foreign investors exiting...
Currency unrealizable....

Every two weeks the clueless guy will come out and call it "bold reforms" hahahahaha
Subsidy disastrous Buari had already removed in advance, uncle yekini came and backdated the removal to his first day in Aso Rock then touted it as bold reforms. Be like say those people dey sniff cocaine tru tru
Re: Reforms In Nigeria Not Working, IMF Report Hints by nairalanda1(m): 8:30am On Nov 16, 2024
Basic thing is, we are not following IMF reforms fully

1. We haven't sanitised the tax income rate. All we get from tax income are sums less than 6 trillion naira, meanwhile budget is supposed to be between 30-40 trillion naira.

2. Subsides still reign over the power sector...meaning it can't make profits and attract investment to fix the thing. We need something like 17 trillion naira YEARLY for at least 5 years to fix the power sector. ...last year, they made 1 trillion in profit. (Lol).

3. We still never fight corruption. At all. When even oga presido has issues...

4. All we have done is remove subsidy, and even that get as e be.

NO wonder we are not working

As for agric....like how many times am I going to say this, subsistence farming cannot fed a entire nation. Sane countries have large commecrcial farming as the majority of their farming, have no issues with their food supply.

I don't criticise leaders!

Even if Obi becomes the president today I will support him 100%!
Is there any rule that says don't criticize your leader? You can criticize leader constructively when they are derailing and also praise them when they are doing good. When you criticize them when they are doing bad, you're telling them they are not on the right path. When you praise them when they do good, you're telling them to do more.

Please note that leaders are fallible, don't see them as angels that are infallible.

Nothing works in Nigeria! As we have bad leaders so also there are worst followers, who knew nothing than stomach fillings!

Yeah in my own beliefs! I didn't say they are not infallible. Even in Jesus time he was hungry! He didn't for once curse the government!

When food is coming from the north, the amount of police and army checkpoints you need to settle sometimes amounts to 1 million naira, with lowest being 700k (if you’re lucky)

Obviously all that will be added to the price of whatever food the trailer was carrying.

No economic policy can remedy that one. I guess IMF didn’t account for corruption when implementing policies.

Economics don’t work here. Nothing works here.
. You have said it all. This is my field

IMF didn't consider the level of corruption in the country before telling the FG about the supposed reforms

Don't go there. Jesus Christ is not an hypocrite. He detest hypocritical life. Go and read stories about king Herod, Ananias and Sapphira how they suffered irreparable lost for not doing the bidding of God.

Where did Jesus ever criticise the leadership as you claim?

Please show us?

Remember Jesus was hungry he cursed the fig tree!

The disciples were hungry they ate grains from the field!

Show us how they cursed/criticised the leaders?

How will it work in an expired country. When the west used to say Nigeria will break in 2014 Nigerians didn't understand. Until Nigeria breaks nothing works because the pillars holding it together have expired and might collapse any moment if we continue to manage what is not manageable.
Re: Reforms In Nigeria Not Working, IMF Report Hints by Anonymous0001: 8:57am On Nov 16, 2024
Reform cannot work in a country like Nigeria because 90 percent of the revenue generating for the so called reform and removing subsidies here and there is going to greedy politicians and not been used to develop the country

. IMF sef don dey wail. There's actually no reforms anywhere.

Their idea of reform is to look for new taxes to introduce and new avenues to get loans just to steal.

No reforms anywhere.

Anybody way dey support APC, him head no correct.

That is their way. They are always very quick at carrying bad news about Nigeria. They said the reform is not working but Tinubu managed to pay $7billion FX backlog inherited, the reform is not working but foreign reserve is now over $40billion, the reform is not working but only about 28% of 2025budget would be financed thru borrowing rather than over 50% in Buhari's 2023 budget, the reform is not working debt to revenue ratio has reduced from 97% to 65% ,the reform is not working about 69 different loans are being repaid. Though, the reform has come with so much pain than earlier envisaged but many things are being corrected.
Another idiot spotted. Zombie
