Don't be surprised that the driver got the money sent to his account yet collected 12k from passengers.

In a normal situation, the driver would be told to approach a mechanic for the repair and after the repair, the money will be sent to him to pay.

The company is lying i have had my own experience from Onitsha to bayelsa the driver said we should contribute 1,000 extra for fuel after buying the transport ticket, the extra 1k he asked from the passengers was for the driver to go through dalta to bayelsa all the people that refuse to contribute once its get to your junction in yenagoa( Bayelsa) for u to drop the driver will take u far beyond your junction so you can trek back, even my self and my friend trekked back to our junction.

If you don’t understand how transport business works, you ask for directions or explanations before coming here to spill gibberish, peace transport company have poor maintenance culture, they don’t follow up to see that most of their vehicles are in good shape for longer journeys, they pay their drivers by the number of turns they make per month. Their assessments on their drivers are not standard because they just employ you as long as you got someone inside that can vouch for you. They stopped sending follow-up vehicles in case something happens, and also most of the vehicles are privately owned despite having peace logo on it, they pay monthly commissions to the company, so most of this vehicles don’t undergo routine inspections and checks. These are just but few in which it’s the company’s fault .

Coming to the drivers, they’re always in a hurry to meet their targets, they connive with the maintenance officers to approve bad vehicles because they need to make money to survive, thereby pocketing both the maintenance cost between the driver and the maintenance officers, the driver waiting until the vehicle can no longer move before he knows the car is faulty.

I only said these because I know how these transport companies operate, so don’t talk shit when you’re only but ignorant, rather be polite and ask for clarification, all I mentioned above, is it the passenger’s fault the vehicle broke down?

The young man was expressing displeasure over the broken down vehicle, ill treatment/negligence of the Regional Managers of PMT to Passengers plight and obvious unawareness of the óga Maduka:
He did not defame the company or it's CEO his complaint against the RM and having to pay for parts are the real issues. Even if they were not asked to pay for parts and you dare sue him, you'd have a tough nut to crack in proofing that 1: you didn't put the passengers lives at risk (as your vehicle did not break down in the middle of Benue)
2: even if the vehicle broke down, you IMMEDIATELY made provision for the Passengers safety and well-being, by temporarily sheltering them in a befitting place while the repair work is being carried out and adequate refreshments were made available to them, 3. That along the way, all the passengers were informed of everything happening at every point during the delay and 4. Your company apologized for the delay and inconveniences occasioned or there was no delay (except there was no delay at all)

If you can't scale these hurdles, better leave the case as it is! Otherwise PMT's gonna learn the hard way

If I was in the bus and asked to contribute, I will not. So probably no o e agreed to contribute and the driver sourced another means.

Damage control,

I have bought fuel for a Peace mass bus I entered from Eleme junction in Port Harcourt to Abuja, the Driver got to lokoja that his fuel money is finished due to multiple repairs he did on the road, morning journey turned out to night Journey and all calls to manager didn't yield any help. As for me Peace mass is the last bus I'll ever take for any journey.
Before you attack me, I have pictures and evidence and am not here to make any claims but to air my own experience.

*Note. The bus at some point failed brake and was risked without brake running into a military barricade which was a risk on it own. PMT management should keep quiet and work on their system before people will open a topic on them.

Even before i put it on the road, i took it to Mandilas, and was certified for the journey. Along the journry, the motor developed issues.... The recording wasn’t necessary. Vehicle breakdown is a possibility, especially when traveling long distances. But humans are impatient; small thing, boom! Camera is out, video is made just to chase clout. If he doesn’t retract and apologize, sue him.
