I don't know cos it varies depending on the hospital you visit.

But what I do know is that it's much cheaper to do it than to use your hard earned resources train a child that isn't yours only to realize after seeing him/her through schooling up to university level.
And what if las las the child is yours?
Wasted funds, right?

Hmnn...I thought it was less than 100K, if not, then it should be subsidized.

But if you don't have money to run a DNA, blood group and genotype can help to determine whether you are the child's father or not. It is not 100% accurate, but it is also useful.

How is verification a wasted fund? Even a land buyer has to spend money to verify that the land is genuine or not.

Dear reasonable and sensible men who married non-virgins aka boreholes, pls don't be discouraged by the price of DNA test. Do you know why? It's better you pay less than 250K today than to lost your millions, time, care and affection you've already invested in the child. Some of una dey downplay DNA test abi?? If a man can knack 400 women in a country like Guinea wey the women no dey promiscuous like our Nigerian women, just imagine how many women dem don knack for here. Until toto get LAST SEEN ONLINE like WhatsApp, never trust a non-virgin woman.
They will want to gaslight you by saying "how can you marry a woman you don't trust" bla bla bla, but don't fall for their trick. It's better you know your stand today and be 100% sure than to guess that the child is yours. The pikin resemble you no mean anything, we don see numerous people wey resemble musicians and footballers before.
What do I even know sef aside enlightening my fellow men nationwide with the good news

Oga if after watching the Guinea video and you still dey believe you're non-virgin wife 100%, then I can't help you anymore
Stop being deceived that only non virgin women commit paternity fraud. Do you have the data to drive this.

I have seen cases of virgin women who turned olosho in their marriages. I can give 2 stories that look like Nollywood scripts.

Stop lying to yourself. Olosho dey inside some humans dna code.

The Cost of DNA Testing in Nigeria – A Definitive Guide to Paternity, Legal, Immigration and Other DNA Tests in Nigeria

When it comes to DNA testing in Nigeria, one common question people always ask is “How much is a DNA test? This is because DNA testing is generally viewed as an expensive procedure. However, this is not the case. There are different types of DNA testing services, each with its own unique use cases, procedures and cost implications.

In this guide, we are going to walk you through each of the different DNA tests and their associated costs so you can make informed decisions.

What is a Relationship DNA Test

A DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid) relationship test is the use of genetic profiles to determine whether an individual is the biological parent of another individual. Four of the most popular relationship DNA tests available in Nigeria:

Personal Paternity (Peace of Mind) Test
Prenatal Paternity Test
Immigration DNA Test
Legal Paternity DNA Test
Cost of Personal Paternity (Peace of Mind) Test In Nigeria
The cost of a standard peace of mind paternity DNA test in Nigeria ranges from N200,000 to 450,000 thousand Naira depending on the clinic. The standard test involves collecting a simple mouth swab sample from the alleged father and the child. A non-standard paternity test involves taking a DNA test with other samples like hairs, bloodstains, fingernails, clothes e.t.c. You can use this method when it’s impossible for you to provide a saliva (oral swab) sample. For the non-standard test, the price ranges from N300,000 to 600,000 thousand Naira.

The standard personal paternity (Peace of Mind) test is the simplest and quickest way to confirm whether or not an alleged man is the biological father of a child. The procedure involves collecting and examining the DNA of a small sample of bodily fluid (usually a buccal swab) from a child and the alleged father. For this test, DNA samples can be collected at the DNA centre or from the comfort of your home.

Cost of Prenatal Paternity Test In Nigeria
The cost of a non-invasive prenatal paternity DNA test in Nigeria ranges from 2,000,000 to 3.5 Million Naira depending on the clinic. The non-invasive prenatal paternity DNA test is used to determine whether a potential father is the biological father of a baby before the baby is born. It involves taking cheek (buccal) swabs from the alleged father(s) and a blood sample from the mother to conduct a fetal cell analysis. The test is performed by analyzing the baby’s DNA and comparing DNA markers to the alleged father(s).

Cost of Immigration DNA Test
The cost of a standard Immigration DNA test in Nigeria ranges from N300,000 to 600,000 thousand Naira depending on the clinic. The standard test involves collecting a simple mouth swab sample from the alleged father and the child. For an immigration relationship test to be acceptable to the requesting authority, it must be carried out under a strict chain of custody.

DNA testing is a powerful tool for verifying relationships between family members, and can prove invaluable when used for immigration cases, applications and appeals, and in support of passport applications.

Cost of Legal Paternity DNA Test In Nigeria
The cost of a standard Legal Paternity DNA test in Nigeria ranges from 300,000 to 600,000 thousand Naira depending on the clinic. The standard test involves collecting a simple mouth swab sample from the alleged father and the child. Other types of samples (like hairs, bloodstains, fingernails, clothes e.t.c.) can be used for the test but at an additional cost ranging from 300,000 – to 500,00 thousand Naira.

The legal paternity DNA test offers a court-approved legal DNA test for people who need their test results to be used in a court of law. This test can be used to settle different family-related legal matters like alimony, child custody, child support, inheritance dispute, and change of name on a birth certificate. It is important to note that the legal paternity DNA test is different from a standard home paternity test which is only done for ‘peace of mind’ purposes. For a legal paternity DNA test to be acceptable by the embassy, it must be carried out under the proper chain of custody. It means that the sample collection for the DNA test must be carried out in front of the judge or in the presence of a court-appointed representative.

DNA Test Type (Standard) Price Range
Paternity DNA Testing N200,000 – 450,000
Prenatal DNA Testing 2,000,00 to 3,500,000
Legal DNA Testing N300,000 – 600,000
Immigration DNA Testing N300,000 – 600,000
If you are considering taking a DNA test, it is important that you choose a professional DNA center that you can trust. Smart DNA is a leading provider of DNA testing in Nigeria. We provide fully accredited DNA testing services to clients in accordance with the highest international standards.

I don't know why you are asking but I bet you that the chance of your marriage remaining intact after DNA testing on your kids is below 20% unless you are married to a virgin.

We warned but you called us fools, bitter, immature and broke "boys". Now, you have spent lavishly on wine carrying, bride price, traditional wedding, white wedding and all the billings associated with pregnancy and childbirth only to end up spending again on DNA testing. Well, it's not my business now. Enjoy your marriage please.

One of my friend did DNA test advert many years ago on NL. More than 50 calls in total after 3 weeks. None of them could afford the test. NL is filled with hungry, frustrated and poverty-stricken people. grin

IF YOU DIDN'T MEET YOUR PARTNER AS A VIRGIN AND YOU THINK BECAUSE YOUR CHILDREN LOOK LIKE YOU, THERE'S NO NEED TO DO DNA TEST, THEN YOU'RE A FÒOL AND E NOR GO BETTER FOR YOU.
I HAVE SEEN A SITUATION WHERE A GIRL WILL SLEEP WITH ANOTHER GUY THAT LOOKS LIKE YOU...

In this generation, DNA test is a must!
Even some girls that marries as virgins still misbehave, but it's less likely.

The difference is that:

A girl who keeps herself till marriage has
High standards
High morals
High dignity
Virtuous
Was raised by RESPONSIBLE PARENTS.

Private DNA paternity testing is illégal in France, including through laboratories in other countries, and is punishable by up to a year in prison and a €15,000 fine. The French Council of State has described the law's purpose as upholding the "French regime of filiation" and preserving "the peace of families."

It's totally alright to ask for a paternity test from your wife/SO, but don't lie to yourself that you trust her. If you aren't in a committed relationship, why ask ? If you've already been married for three years, and you want one, you need to reevaluate your relationship. If you're only dating, then you are stupide!
We are in a world of very low moral standards, & sexual corruption, where people secretly keep multiple sex partners even when married
...yet you are trying to guilt trip men....

Suddenly the man is the bad guy because he wants to be sure sure the baby that came out of the vagina that several other men has entered is truly is...
... Incase u haven't noticed....honesty is a very expensive and rare in this current world....
