Congrats to Chidimma. Congrats Nigeria. Miss Victoria Theilvig of Denmark won it. I thought Chidimma would nick it.

Since Chidimma came to Nigeria to contest for the miss universe Nigeria, South Africa was doing everything to fight her. Her citizenship and eligibility were queried.

South Africans threw their weight behind miss Kwara but they failed.

Mandela foundation started another round of attack to prevent her participation but they failed.

Out of all the participants that came for the beauty pageant in Mexico, three participants withdrew: Kosovo, Panama and South Africa.
one of them withdrew due to health reasons. Her name is Mia Le Roux and she was meant to represent South Africa.

The sangoma and Mayembe laser which the South Africans directed at Chidimma missed its direction and landed on their candidate.

Miss Italy Mora representing Panama decided to sneak into her boy friend’s hotel room in Mexico and she was expelled over the scandal.
