Nothing to be sorry about! The experience merely helped open my mind's eyes to how very importance memory is to a person's life and being. undecided

Have been there twice. First was when I was in primary sch I think around 8yrs old. Went to visit my dad in the hospital. I left the ward and started walking around, I went to an isolated place, then I saw the morgue. The mortician was inside and I think he was injecting a female corpse wearing only pants with some chemicals and big syringe. The seren was very quiet, I enjoyed the sight, I watch the whole action untill she was been put inside the fridge then a nurse saw me and ask who brought me there. She chase me away I ran back to the hospital. I was less than 10 years then in primary school. The 2nd time was when I lost my frd. Infact na me even filled his death certificate. It was horrible as this time I enter inside the mortuary. Omo I saw abandoned corpse, some their hairs has fallen off.
I seems not to be scared of such, even I do go to youtube searching for mortuary videos. I don't find it funny sha

No. All stand out technologies mimmick the workings of either the human body or spiritual laws. This then means that those at the helm of such inventions are well versed with these spiritual laws. I’m not talking about those who reproduce already existing technologies. I’m referring to the first inventors.

I theorize that another way to define tech is to see it as a physical manifestation of spiritual laws.

If you’re a medical person, you would notice that the very same way the organs and the brain works is thesame way components of devices work. Coincidence?

Mention any technology you can think of and i’d tell you it’s spiritual equivalent
You are absolutely right.

At the year 2022 I lost my close friend and flatmate...he died in a boat mishap.
When i visited the military Morgue, It was my first time i was up close to the dead body of a loved one. Due to the nature of his death, the body was swollen and had a foul smell, eyes and nose were missing. It was a frightening sight.
Prior to my visit at the morgue it was so difficult for me to sleep at night. The first night after my visit to the morgue, i had a dream and in that dream he was laughing at me saying "he heard me crying, that he was faking his death".... After that night i wasnt afraid anymore.

Early this year....I had a strange encounter on the staircase leading to our apartment. I could perceive the fragance of his favourite perfume, to be sure i called someone else to stand at thesame spot and the person confirmed same thing. That was some scary shxt
This is scary. The first encounter wasn't a dream. It was a visitation but because the dead and the living operate on different planes, it's easier for them to manifest via dreams. My late uncle however, was a strong man because after passing mysteriously, he came.

My uncle was one of the occupant of the boys quarters in my father's compound. On the night that he passed, the other occupant heard footsteps and sounds (wardrobe , drawers, and so on opening and shutting). He had to call my dad because he thought his apartment was being burgled. The doors were however, shut from the outside and no sign of forced entry from window. The spare key was used to access his room and the room was in a mess. Money and his documents missing (he had told my mother the morning prior to his trip that his girlfriend was to come collect cash from his flat). Similarly, he would appear to his friend begging that they take a drive to their favourite spot. At a point, he became angry that this friend wasn't obliging. Also, sometimes, you would feel his presence or see a shadowy figure around his apartment... All these and more continued until he was buried. I'm however suspecting that he is elsewhere on earth living like what the Yorubas would call "Akudaya". That should be the only logical reason why he came back for his money and documents. Years later, his land in the village was sold. Nobody knows who sold it to the buyer, but his family never pressed charges because, guess what? The new owner has the original documents to the land.

one reason why i do not stress my life and live freely is knowining that i will die someday, those at the morgue know nothing about life again.

Typing ...

A mutual friend (who was in the occult) was sleeping with his friend's (also an occultist) wife. The husband to this adulteress later died for reasons we all do not know. During the services leading to his burial, as his tradition demands, his body was placed in a room. His close pals and relatives were allowed to go in and pay their respects to him (the dead). All did, but when my mutual friend (who's been banging the deceased wife) went in, while still saying, 'Adieu', he got a hard freaking slap from the dead and without blinking an eye bait, he (the wife fu*cker) returned the slap.

According to my mutual friend, the slap he returned to the dead was a super reflex action. To him, failure to respond as such would have led to his own untimely death within seven days.

N.B.: There are other information I left out, sha. This happened in Kogi State. I don't believe the dead can act as such save for those whom were possessed or in the occult. The demons in them can still act. I've seen here on NL where Ghanaian corpses walked to their burial grave.

Ah, this is difficult to believe, but I won’t dismiss the story just like that. While I do believe that spirits exist, I honestly cannot confirm that the spirits of the dead physically communicate with the living. Through dreams? Oh yes, I’ve had at least two "accurate" encounters this year alone. I left those parts out because people wouldn’t believe me.

Accept my deepest condolences my brother.

Only those who have experienced the death of a very close loved one will know that truly, this world is very deep and apart from one's relationship with GOD which is the one and only true investment, every other thing is mere activity (I don't want to use vanity because it is now cliche.)
Oh yes, my brother. Thank you for your condolences.

I wish we had five of your kind on Nairaland.

By the way I'm sorry to learn of the passing away of your wife. Life becomes meaningless for a while when we lose a love one. Some people never fully recover from the shock. I lost a brother several years back to brain problems. Before him I lost a sister to diabetes. She was only 20 years old when she died. Three years ago my mother passed on and four years ago my father.

I don't know which pained most. My sister's demise was the first I lost someone that close to the cold strands of death. I did cry my lungs when the corpse finally arrived home. I never made it to the mortuary cos was in charge of the funeral preparations at home. It's been 20 years since she passed on. I could go for months without missing or thinking about her despite having named my 18 years old daughter after her.

The experience is different with my brother. With Just a year apart we grew up like twins. He was at the hospital with my sister during her last days. When she fell into a diabetic coma, he fell into unconsciousness cos of the shock and only recovered to a depressed mood of psychological breakdown. (Madness)

After four years of psychiatric problems he too succumbed. It's been 16 years since he passed on but a day has never gone by without thinking about him. I did name my thirteen years old son after him. If I had to chose two persons from the world beyond to bring back to life, it would be him and him.

I don't miss my parents that much. My mum was just 59 years old when she passed on. Our relationship had become rocky over the years due to Pentecostal radicalism. I do blame her sometimes for my brother's demise, having refused us from seeking medical help for him on the hypothesis of God having revealed to her that, it was a spiritual issue that needed only prayers.

However it's hard to forget her. She was still a very caring mother and the good days are hard to forget. My father was 72 when he passed on. I don't particularly miss him that much but pity his last days made difficult by my mum who had become radicalized in a strange Pentecostal world of her own.

Daily when I pray I say "God whatever harm would befall my children let it befall me. I don't think I could stand the pain of losing one of them despite my inner strengths. Every iron ore has its melting point though. They are my melting point
Hmmn... Thank you for sharing all of that with me, bro. I can only imagine the pain each of those losses must have caused, especially losing a sister and brother at such young ages.

I agree that children can become our own "melting points." We want to protect them from any harm.

The spirit of death is a very strong one. I went to the morgue one day to see my mother after passing at the age of 60 through heart attack. I didn't 3days fasting and praying, embarking on a journey to resurrect my mum. When I got there, I wanted to raise my hand to pray and wake her, but I felt so much weight on my hand that I couldn't even raise my hand to pray. That's when is done on me that it was all over.
Re: Have You Ever Been To A Morgue? by dontrulee: 8:55am On Nov 17, 2024
Yes, I've been to the morgue and I've certified many people dead.

They all look like they're sleeping, just that it's a sleep they can't wake up from.

Sometimes this year, one of my girlfriends took a picture of me sleeping and it reminded me of my mortality, that one day (which could be anytime), my eyelids will close never to open again. I loved the picture so much that I used it as my screenlock. We shall all die and it's something we shouldn't be afraid of

I'm not against resurrection however what's the point of resurrecting a mortal body when they will still die?
