Utterance
Faith
Crowd
Which has nothing to do with seniority
Some can't preach but can pull crowd
Some can preach & the heaven will come down but can't pull 1000 member
None of Jesus apostle including Paul could match up with Apolos's utterance but that didn't make apolos their seniority.
Authority and Power, wisdom and patience , Experience and long-suffering and so on, these are what make a father not comely of word on the pulpits.

Loyalty

Means if he was not retired, his prowess like you used wouldn't have gotten noticed. Well, I don't really have much to say about that rather than somethings happen for a great manifestation.

I just wonder why Oyedepo himself & Adeboye are not retiring as well, Abi they don't believe in the younger pastors who have served under them ready enough to carry on the mantle of leadership

It's a quite similar feeling I usually had whenever I heard Paul Enenche speaking despite hearing that Oyedepo was his mentor.

He appeared to have a different mindset from Oyedepo from the way he sounded and acted very differently apart from a few occasions.

I hardly heard him teach the antichrist prosperity gospel and its heresies about tithing as was the usual of David Oyedepo and that David Ibiyeomie )who has proven overtime to be a much worse version of David Oyedepo). Hence when I see them together I wonder how they possibly agree despite the glaring differences, however didn't allow that association to affect my opinion of Paul Enenche, because I am not one driven by personal sentiments but Truth.

However Paul Enenche left early to start his own ministry, which perhaps helped him not to be stifled as David Abioye, but to shone brightly and impact the worldore or less to the fullest.

So could David Abioye have also done same thing?

Going by what later happened to him (enforced retirement) despite his loyalty and unwavering service to Oyedepo ministry all those years, the answer is probably in the affirmative.

I was a member of winners for so many yrs before i left dem wit their church business.I always preferred Abioye than Oyedepo.I hav know Abioye prowess for over 20yrs.Goto Goshen at Nasarawa state n see d crowd Abioye pulled after that church was established.That place floods like canaan land .Abioye na correct preacher i wont lie.

The only issue people have is that why would bishop abioye and bishop aremu be retired and the General overseer, bishop Oyedepo remain as the G.O, despite being older than them.... And this has also been explained, they are following an operational guide.....

I also love abioye's teaching, he is popular and has a lot of followers, if he had started his own ministry long ago like enenche and others, he might not have been this popular... We can't tell.... But na church matter ino dey 2 chook mouth

Thats d more reason u should respect him.Abioye has no equal in d world.He has humbly stood as point man n second in command to d living faith church since it was established without grumbling or trying to establish his own ministry.It takes a level of honesty n loyalty to remain oyedepo number to for a decade without leaving.Infactfrm wat i hav known for years,if winners want to pull membership in a state or area they not strong,They send Abioye there n d rest will be history.Do u know any Bishop in d whole world that reach retirement age wit another bishop as his boss for a decade?If u see Abioye security convoy ,u might tink its oyedepo.

Stop it already. He was never stifled, he preached every Sunday, honoured external invitations when he could and he ran the Nigerian arm of the ministry for many, many years. No one ever disrespected him, or saw him as any less in the ministry.
You need to see the way the oyedepo children talk about him and you'll know how highly esteemed he was.
