But then if the voice on the audio belonged to him, he could be charged by authorities for reputation damage if the things she claimed didn’t happen.

The whole reason for the invitation was to authenticate the audio by hearing from him directly without a mouthpiece, but he didn't honor their invitation.

Even in the US, their National Assembly invites people for questioning. They've invited Mark of Facebook and the Tiktok guy. Do your findings.

I can't speak to the EFCC's own, but what the National Assembly did is not out of place.

He can cash out for wrongful arrest and detention. He was invited to attend a hearing. If you are invited to a party...do you have to show up? He was arrested because he didn't show up. Did they have a warrant for his arrest? That's what they must have before arresting him .... they didn't. He is wrongfully arrested and detained .... what are the charges? They brought him in ... if he said that's not him on the recording how can they prove it's him? There's a reason voice recordings are not accepted in courts .... someone's voice can be imitated. I'm not at all a fan of Bobrisky or his lifestyle ... but when we be shouting democracy upandan we must be consistent.
