The problem is our corrupt leaders at so many levels.
You have a clear case of conflict of interest a long as same set of people are tasked with importing refined crude, supplying crude to local refineries and managing local refineries. They have the key to endless state resource and power to stiffle any alternative so i wonder where the checks and balances in oil industry comes from.

He's importing fuel because they make enough money from there compare to the local.. They'll double the price they bought it there and still go as far as saying they subsidized it .. importation of pms can never be stopped.

Yeye people just like their leaders. Tomorrow they will complain dollar is 2000 naira. You export almost nothing except crude oil, then borrow dollars from IMF to settle bureau de change. Yeye people.

Fuel importation is one of Nigerias governments cash cow. As long as the presidency has interest in it, there is no stopping importation.
