Seems like some nots are missing from your head.
The Nsukka people you speak of which I am one of are high achievers
When people cannot argue with facts they resort to insults.
Just let him be, the famous Ogbunigwe which decimated the highest number of Nigerian troops during the civil war was designed and built at Nsukka, wetin his Bini Ikwerre (not the Igbo Ikwerre) don achieve for history wink

Ngwa people in Abia state and many Igbo communities in Nsukka doesn't practise Osu caste and it doesn't make them less Igbo in anyway
Because most of them are Igala or Benin origin.

In reality, Igbo is far less than 40% of the people they actually claim to be Igbo after they came to Nigeria from their original homeland Guinée Equitoriale.

Here’s Bianca Ojukwu’s brother narrating how his family and Ngwo people migrated from Benin, but na Ikwerre all idi0ts and illiterates of Igboland want to tell who they are, and force their smelly identity on.

Ode!

Ika, Ikwerre, Ogba and the rest do not speak igbo.

They speak their own distinct language. That there are similarities in language is normal everywhere in the world. Even within the igbo group, they dont understand themselves e.g there are groups in Enonyi state whose language is not understand by other igbos.

Another fact is that, ika, Ikwerre and other south south nationalities are older than igbo.
These groups have a well defined history and how their progenitor migrated from Benin. Same cannot be said about igbos who till this day cannot tell the world where they came from.

Stop trying to be a land grabber and focus on your five plots of land. It was Ajayi that caused this nonsense when he brought strange people together and started teaching them a language called "ibo".
Lol
You are older than Igbo with ur 300k population home and abroad??

Classifying language under a group doesn't make the people the same. It is for easy of study and identity. If ikwerre had 5 states as Igbos and Igbos 4 LGA the classification will be in reverse. Understand this. Having some words in common with you doesn't make me you.
Ikwerre has 3 LGA.

Igbos staying in their conclave wouldn't understand me. The only igbo that will understand ikwerre are those who have spent some times in Port Harcourt.
Igbos have known ikwerre for over a hundred years and every effort to annex ikwerre has failed. We may be a related ethnic but not one the other. Our cultures, beliefs and values differ.
Igbo has advantage because of numbers. That is why ikwerre is being classified as Igbo. An average Igbo man knows that if not for territorial expansion he doesn't have any similarities with an Ikwerre man.
who told you....

We are saying the same thing.... tomorrow the Igbo in Lagos will return back to east and when they say they are from Lagos ...that doesn't mean that they are from Yoruba or Yoruba land

That's what the Ikwerre don't get

The debate about the ethnic and cultural identities of Ikwerre, Ekpeye, and Ogba communities in Rivers State, Nigeria, is both historical and sociopolitical. Historically, these groups share linguistic and cultural ties with the Igbo people, which has led to claims that they are originally part of the larger Igbo ethnicity. However, modern political and identity factors have influenced how these groups identify themselves today.

Historical and Cultural Connections

1. Language Similarity: The Ikwerre, Ekpeye, and Ogba languages belong to the Igboid group of the Niger-Congo language family, indicating a shared linguistic heritage with the Igbo people.

2. Cultural Practices: Many traditional practices, such as the age-grade systems and agricultural rites, align closely with Igbo customs.

3. Oral Traditions: Oral histories from some families and communities trace their origins to Igbo territories, particularly areas like Owerri, Orlu, and parts of Anambra State.

Modern Identity

In contemporary times, Ikwerre, Ekpeye, and Ogba people often emphasize their distinct identities, separate from the Igbo. This divergence has been influenced by:

Colonial and Post-Colonial Politics: During British colonial rule, administrative decisions created divisions, grouping Ikwerre and related communities into Rivers Province, distinct from Igbo-majority provinces.

Nigerian Civil War: The Biafran War (1967–1970) deepened the separation as some Ikwerre and related groups distanced themselves politically from the Igbo.

State Creation and Autonomy: The creation of Rivers State in 1967 further solidified a non-Igbo identity among these groups as they sought political recognition and resource control within the Niger Delta.

While historical evidence supports the argument that Ikwerre, Ekpeye, and Ogba were originally Igbo, their present-day identities reflect a complex interplay of history, politics, and self-determination. Ethnic identity is dynamic and shaped by social and political factors, making it important to respect how communities define themselves today.

Ikwerres do not practice the OSU caste system.
The only people who live with us but are treated almost as the Igbos treat the OSU are the Arnu people that's Arochukwu descendants.
Bros there is no tie anywhere that link ikwerres to the Igbos. See as close as Omerelu is to imo state communities there is no tie between this ikwerre community to these Igbo communities. Rather some of these communities in imo State are saying they are not igbo but ikwerres. But we can't claim them because there is no historic link that they are ikwerre.
See all ikwerre communities are linked by blood ties
Like the Akpor Kingdom was actually formed by nine brothers.
There's no osu caste system in my hometown too. It isn't a general practice.

Who are the Arochukwu and who are the Igbos, what made Arochukwu Igbos?

When you say Igbos just know you're also refering to ikwerre people too, except you start singling other Igbo groups out for comparison.

Akpor people are not Igbos too??

Ofcourse the ancestors of the igbos are ancient. The difference is that they were not in this present location in Nigeria.

Igbo as a tribe in Nigeria is a very recent thing. Most of the people called igbo today were not known by that name till the missionaries came and grouped them together and taught them ibo language.

Do you know what Ikwerres call their culture? They call it "Omeneli". Now bear in mind that culture is something handed down by ancestors. Now what do Igbos call their culture? They call it Omenala/Omenana/Omenani/Omenali depending on the dialect of where you are in Igbo land

This tells you all you need to know

Ikechukwu keep beating your chest and reminding your delusion that you're from Benin.

Arochukwu people are Igbo but akpor people are not Igbo? Etche people nko? Can you even understand a single statement from a Benin man??

You see Owerri, orlu, Nsukka, Onitsha, ngwa, Arochukwu, Afikpo, izaa, nkanu etc and call them Igbo but akpọr is not Igbo?? Are you even aware that there're akpọr people in Nnewi south local government?? Is there any akpọr anywhere in Edo state??

Why are you not speaking Benin and bearing Benin names??

Why are your communities and villages named with the prefix "ụmụ" instead of "Omo" like the Benin/Ife where your ancestors were from??

Who teach ikwerre people the language that is related to the missionaries language that they taught to the people called Igbo today??

Do you think Anambra alone speak the same dialect? Have you heard Nsukka person speak? So the missionaries taught Nsukka people nsukka-ibo, ikwerre people ikwerre-ibo etc??

And finally, how did the missionaries grouped them together??

Through Ajayi Crowther who had to start teaching the imported slaves ibo language so they can have identity.

Here is proof:

Why did Ajayi Crowther have to start teaching the supposed owners of a language their own language? Please answer.

As of the time of making that map, igbo and yoruba didn't exist yet. Now why do you identify as an artificial and recent political construct called Igbo rather than a real African precolonial country ?
Stop trying to debate people's identity with them. Mind your dammed business!
