Igodomigodo was a smaller kingdom and was only in present day Benin city. Igodomigodo didn't even cover the whole of Edo state today so, igbos were never part of it.

It was the Benin Empire that stretched to Onitsha and this is evident in the Royal symbol(Ada and Eben) of Obi of Onitsha.

Quit lying grin grin. The evidence is just too glaring.

Igbos always grappling at straws when it comes to history .

Today you are from Isreal, tomorrow you are from Eri , next tomorrow you are now Idu grin grin.

Ajayi Crowther brought strangers ( slaves) together and taught them ibo language.

Argue with the proof below:
The only reason you keep failing in your argument is that you aren't logical at all, you don't even reason at all

so according to you, Ajayi crowther brought slaves together and start teaching them Nsukka-ibo, nkanu-ibo, etche-ibo, owerri-ibo, ika-ibo, onitsha-ibo, awka-ibo,Aguleri-ibo, ogbaru-ibo, ndoki-ibo, izaa-ibo, afikpo-ibo, ikwerre-ibo??

Where did Ajayi crowther learnt the foreign ibo language that he taught to the slaves he gathered??

Sometimes I wonder what is wrong with the people of the southeast who chose to identify as "Igbo", stop trying to force your chosen identity upon others !

Through Ajayi Crowther who had to start teaching the imported slaves ibo language so they can have identity.

Here is proof:
Ajayi crowther learnt ibo language from thin air??

Stop showing me the work of an Igbo priest under bishop crowther that he went and published and plastered his name all over.

He published someone else's work

Are villages in Benin/Edo named "omo"?

Or you guys just take delight in going off-point?
Villages in Igbo land are mostly named with the prefix "ụmụ" from Delta state to Anambra down to rivers state, Abia etc.

Why are your villages not named in a similar way to those of Benin/edo??

The ibo language was borrowed from ikwerre, ika, Ogba and other related languages.

Why did Ajayi Crowther have to start teaching the supposed owners of a language their own language? Please answer.
Hahahahahaha, you must be a Yoruba ronu? This is how they Reason emptily.

When did ikwerre and ika start speaking same dialect??

As of the time of making that map, igbo and yoruba didn't exist yet. Now why do you identify as an artificial and recent political construct called Igbo rather than a real African precolonial country ?
Stop trying to debate people's identity with them. Mind your dammed business!
Lol, so Benin is older than its founder oramiyan from Ile Ife??

Go and ask any ogiso descendants to tell you how Ife warrior invaded igodomigodo

You joke too much😂

Do you know what Ikwerres call their culture? They call it "Omeneli". Now bear in mind that culture is something handed down by ancestors. Now what do Igbos call their culture? They call it Omenala/Omenana/Omenani/Omenali depending on the dialect of where you are in Igbo land

This tells you all you need to know
The problem with most of you is willful shallowness. Languages all over the world are interrelated. Words or languages alone don’t define people. Ikwerre and Igbo don’t share the same values, ways of life, behaviour, world view etc. mek ona rest

French: "Culture"

That's according to you. But the book says otherwise.

The first ever book written in igbo language was by a Yoruba man called Ajayi Crowther. His name is written there boldly.

He was the bishop and priest report direct to the bishop.

A fellow Igbo slave priest wrote the book crowther published in his very own name.

I'd have said stolen but I understand the Catholic hierarchy of priests

You are the one who was talking about being logical. Yet you want someone of today to tell a story of something which you think happened more than 600 years ago.

News flash: oranmiyan, igodimigodo, ogiso ...are fairytales with no proof backing them. Things for which there are actual proof are the fact that Benin was a large empire as witnessed by Europeans right from the 1400's.
Once again, map published in 1747 by Emanuel Bowen 👇🏿

I present you an eyewitness written document and you disregard it because it doesn't sit well with your fairytales 🤔 I guess, I see what you mean by "logic" now.

In case you are too retarded to know, Ife was a small village in 1912 when the British started building it up. Needless to say that nothing and nobody migrated from ife or originated from Ife.

I am not the reason you dont understand simple English.

Igbo language of today has borrowed words and most importantly culture from ika, Ikwerre, and other groups in the south south.

Infact as at about a hundred years ago, the igbo man was still naked and not wearing clothes.

The red cap/winter cap you now parade is a recent thing.

The apoche you were was also borrowed recently.

Ika, Ikwerre, Ogba etc are older than igbo.

Prove it that it was an igbo man that wrote the book or remain shut.

Ofcourse Ajayi Crowther must have consulted some natives so as to better his work. This is normal for any writer. But at the end, the work is credited to him.

Let me also write in the English you'll understand.

Yoruba language of today was borrowed from ilaje, egun and awori with their cultures from Benin Republic and Nupe.

Your bent left cap was borrowed from the Hausa/Fulani.

The agbada was a borrowed attire from the Arab.

Ilaje, egun, awori etc are older than yoruba

Dude, are you just going to be reciting fairytales you saw on the internet? "Ile ibinu" huh Dude, there is something wrong with your brain. Where did you see "Ile ibinu" on the map ? What you see is "Benin", "Ile ibinu" is a fairytale! Dumb ass. And Benin is much older than both igbo and yoruba as shown by the evidence which I provided.

The problem...is that you have forgotten the influence ...the original word is "Cultura" and it came from Rome and Rome colonised France, British isles, Germany and french and when Rome declined ..the colonies took up many languages and many European language borrowed from Latin which was original language spoken by Rome

So ,for Ikwerre to even start bearing the name Ikwerre and calling culture ..Omenali ...they were either Igbo slaves or were under Igbo dominance.... It is the lesser beings that always take up the language and culture of higher beings

Go and ask Ajayi Crowther why he didn’t teach you to say something else.

I’m sure you know Igbo itself means slave.

It doesn't matter anyway, Ikwerres are very small in number compared to the larger scheme of things, just three local governments at most, hardly worth bothering ones head over. Igbos have not even bothered their head over Anioma with 9 local governments

Yes Ikwerre is just ONE AND HALF LOCAL GOVERNMENT, but happy and content with what they have but, you Igbo that have 53 States and 3 continents are all over the place looking for ‘brothers’ no be juju be that?

How is emuoha man related to elele, isiokpo, or igwuruta man?
All of the present ikwerre clans migrated from ndoki, arochukwu, ngwa, ogba, ekpeye and owerri clans. People of Aluu, igwuruta, isiokpo, elele, emuoha, rebisi, and obio/akpor all migrated from different igbo and igba/ekpeye clans.

Let me just summarise this for you, as long as you have kp in your names, you are an igbo man.

You just drive joy in deceiving yourself, nobody is grabbing your land, migration from Benin doesn’t mean that the progenitors that migrated from Benin are not Igbos, before the establishment of Benin kingdom from Yorubas Aromiya with the help of Portuguese, there is IDU kingdom before Igodomigodo, Igbos are part of IDU before Akalaka and Eze-Chime migrated out of IDU not even Benin because Benin kingdom came yesterday.

The said Ajayi Crowther is a returned refugee from America that just wrote a book about languages in Nigeria and didn’t form any language, stop showing your ignorance on public.

Oga shut up your mouth if you don’t know the origin of the word “Akalaka”

Akalaka is a combination of two words:

Akalaka = Aka N’ Ogbe alaka (Ogbelaka in Benin)
N’ = From
Ogbe = Quarters
Alaka = A founder of good things.

I.e = Aka warrior from Ogbelaka in Igodomigodo present day Benin Kingdom.

We Ikwerre, Ogba and Ekpeye are the Great Aka’s of Ancient Benin Kingdom.

Then the Benin’s where also known as; ‘Aka’ which the Urhobo people still call Benin till date.

Pa Idu the progenitor of Ancient Benin had three Children: Aka, Efa, and Emehi

Akalaka (Aka) an Ancient Benin name signifies: Strength, Greatness and mighty.

That is why you have names like:
Alakalaka in Benin = meaning Greatness and mighty too.

Benin is not yesterday, it is called Ancient Kingdom for a reason and Ikwerre people are ancient people!

Respect our history Mr. Igbo Biafra attach by force migrant parasites!

How is emuoha/ogbakiri man related to elele, igwurita or isiokpo man?
