I'm so scared! I'm still a bit shaken.

So a gas caught fire in the compound beside us, we share a fence. I heard from my house the sudden hissing of gas cylinder and ran out to see if it's our compound only to hear someone from the compound shout 'egbami o'.

I asked what it is and she said Gas is about to explode, she can't control the gas escaping.

First thing I did was remove my fire extinguisher and unlock it before going out to the next compound with my boxers and singlet 😭 a whole me.

I can't lie, I was scared, what if this thing explodes I my hand as I'm taking it out.

Guess what, her next door neighbors didn't come out o. I managed to disarm the gas - it's a camp gas.

"What if this thing explodes on my hand?" Kept running through my mind, my wife, my two young children - yet I went ahead with my big stomach.

Well I'm back and now I have to buy a new fire extinguisher for my car coz I removed the safety seal on this one and FRSC no dey hear story.

The only way to take back our country is to not fear for our own lives but for the collective.

Kudos to him abeg . Where blokos for dey talk,make big breast go sit-down one place cuz the difference is very clear.

That's how my roommate and I helped in extinguishing fire from our neighbor's room back then in 2013.... Funniest thing was that the native hen was quarrelling with us before the incident took place.....The following day,it was our landlady that rained insults on her and compelled her to apologize to us,after all she was the the one who was at fault all along..

That camp gas is not safety compliant. The burner is supposed to be separate from the cylinder.

buying a new extinguisher should not be as important as saving lives and safety precaution afterall of what use is an unused fire extinguisher compared to lost lives
