I agree that she was not smart with her word is to risky for police to go underground and their saying they will only come out if police . So you are saying police should sign agreement with the criminals that they won’t arrest them . If you know the violence history of zam zamas you will know that their equivalent to a terror is like Nigeria negotiating with boko haram. i don't think the police should go in either however that is not the contention. You can have other services attempt to go in and negotiate with them to come out or at the least send food and water and health services in there. It is obligatory that you do not leave them there to die no matter what crime they have committed.

I am fully aware of the struggles SA is experiencing in terms of trying to curb lawlessness and navigate obligations under its constitutional mandates and this is a situation where that resolve is tested which is why the world is watching.
