Lol immediately I saw this post I knew it would be an Agbado empty brain. Their lazy self is always waiting for manna to fall from heaven after dancing owambe ….a 10 year old child knows the more you increase burden on the rich, the more they pass it over to the poor in terms of the goods and services they provide because they are not baba sallah or Father Christmas but Agbado knows nothing about basic elementary school economics, the reason they supported mandate thief, a drug criminal with no single achievement as Lagos governor except stealing the state blind

The same Lagos you run to, to see a metro for the first time in your life

The same Lagos where the fire service works unlike the water tanker that shows up in your five plots after five market days

The same Lagos that conceived a world class and permanent solution to the bar beach overflowing and has built Africa’s most luxurious real estate

The same Lagos that built the Lekki FTZ with companies creating jobs and generating over $5bn annually

The same Lagos that has a population more than all your five plots put together but still more secure than the safest LGA in your erosion ravaged region because Tinubu started the Lagos Security Trust Fund

Obi can never even match the achievement of an LGA chairman in Lagos to start with

Someone has conceived a tax law that will tax the rich more and the poor less but your low IQ will not read and understand the intent but criticize. That’s why you will always remain backward

You will always remain slaves in Yorubaland. We will govern you and you must obey our laws or return to your Monday flogging

If u tax the rich, tge poor would suffer.

This is the analysis here:
If u have read books on finance or watch Donald Trump presidential debate with Hillary Clinton. U would hear when Hillary accused Trump of of evading tax but in reality, president Trump used the tax loopholes to his advantage there by declaring himself poor or otherwise bankrupt.

The thing is,if u tax the rich too heavy,a bag of cement would go up,the bag of rice would further increase because that is the only means through which they can react to the heavy imposition of tax. They fire workers and one staff would do the work of 5persons in the office and if h decide to leave the work, many are ready to take up the offer.

Tax the rich responsibly else, the poor and the weak would suffer terribly.

This is absolute nonsense.

Insofar as they are not monopolies, there is no reason why proper taxation of the rich and corporations should lead to inflation.

If they inflate their prices unduly, they will lose customers, simple.

How come this your theory doesn't apply in all the countries listed above with 27% tax to GDP ratio etc?

YOU CAN NEVER DEVELOP THIS COUNTRY without increasing taxes for the rich and for corporations.

Our annual budget is $59 billion for 240 million people.

South Africa's is $147 billion for 60 million people.

Proper taxation will increase our annual budget to at least $100 billion.

Meaning MORE money for the states, MORE money for health care, education and infrastructure.

So the rich neighbor next to you is the cause of Nigeria's problems abi, na rich cause fuel to enter 1500 abi they caused the inflation too. Or it's the rich men on ur street that caused election to be rigged abi na them appoint inec chairman, oga go and rest

Nigeria was doing well many years ago and no one had to be heavily taxed to achieve such.

What level of education have u to even think of calling what i wrote nonsense. Think out of the box and stop this ur agbero tax collector talk.

What u guys see is more money here and there but u failed to ask,are they using it to the advantage of the people.

U claim that Ogun and Lagos have more IGR but it is absolutely not on ground.

There are many countries in the world that grew their economy on investments and not tax. Stop this ur smelly talk without reasoning.

And to think that u are educated is even absurd

Norway has a high tax-to-GDP ratio because of its large welfare state, high government spending, and the country's natural resources.

Proposing to increase taxation of the rich is just your typical everyday poverty-induced babbling common among those that never seem to understand financial indices.

An Open Appeal for Support in Publishing and Distributing a Vital Book on Drug And Substance Misuse
Dear Esteemed Public,
I am reaching out with a heartfelt request for assistance in publishing and distributing my recently authored book, ‘HIGH’, which delves into the critical issue of drug misuse and addiction—an urgent challenge facing many individuals, especially among our youth today.
The book provides an in-depth exploration of the various types of drugs, their harmful effects, and the root causes of substance abuse. It also features real-life stories from individuals who have survived or been affected by drug addiction, sharing their personal journeys in the hope that others may be spared from walking down the same destructive path.
In a society where the scourge of drug misuse is rapidly escalating, particularly among secondary school students, I firmly believe that this book has the potential to serve as a powerful educational tool. It aims not only to inform but to inspire youth to make informed choices and understand the dangers associated with drug abuse.
However, I currently face significant financial constraints preventing me from publishing and distributing this important work. Therefore, I am reaching out to seek assistance and collaboration with organizations and individuals who can help make this book accessible to the public, especially to secondary schools, libraries, and community centers where it can reach the youth who need it most.
How You Can Help:
1. Financial Support – Any contribution to help fund the publication and distribution of the book would be invaluable.
2. Partnerships and Collaboration – I am also seeking to partner with organizations, such as the NDLEA (National Drug Law Enforcement Agency) and NAFDAC (National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control), to help get the book into the hands of young people across the nation.
3. Sharing the Message – Help spread the word about this book, especially to educational institutions, community groups, and youth organizations. Together, we can create the awareness needed to combat drug misuse before it destroys more lives.
This book is not just a project for me; it is a call to action. A call to educate, empower, and protect our youth from the dangers of drug misuse. I believe that, with the right support, we can make a meaningful difference in the fight against addiction and substance abuse.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for any support or connections you can offer. Together, we can help stem the rising tide of this menace and create a brighter, healthier future for the next generation.
