I applied and did biometrics in May, I only got a response to bring my passport last month (October).

It’s possible there’s some sort of issue with your application, in my case, I didn’t upload a single document and made a mistake with my passport date. I still got the visa nonetheless, just the delay.

I contacted an agent, he told me 3m for one adult, 5m for two adult, 7m for family of 5(going with my kids), but am thinking of going first because of finance, then bring my family later when I secure a job or settle down well. Oh No, it’s not a case of miracle/grace, I just happen to have an extensive travel history. Never been denied a visa actually.

a friend once applied for a uk visa from Canada before and only attached my PR card. Just explained the rest without putting evidence like bank statement, hotel booking etc and was given. The economic situation in Nigeria and our reputation over the years has made visa officers see Nigerians with travel history as potential japa that won’t come back.

I applied for Canada visa for my parents and it was approved within 30 days. They are to submit at VFS LAGOS, please do they need to pay any other money aside the processing fee 38500 and can they process DHL for delivery when passport is ready for return? Thank you.

The culture of expecting people to do things for you is the reason a lot of people gets scammed.
Thank God, we have a platform like nairaland were alot of people have successfully done it themselves and excelled. You can ask questions about your application if you are confused along the line. But i would always advocate that you do it yourself and dont become someone's cashapp!
