Obasanjo is a nationalist bar none. He is not a bigot and truly loves Nigeria and its people irrespective of where they come from. He is highly respected at home and abroad when compared to these lilliputs. There's no controversy over the schools he attended and the certificates he obtained. He does not have a history of forfeiting money anywhere in the world for drug trafficking. His economic policies and the results therefrom is one of the high points since our return to democracy in 1999. These are values worthy of emulation. Truth be told, Tinubu cannot tie the shoe lace of the Ebora.

When Obj was called back to recuse Nigeria from the ruins of military era, Tinubu was still battling with the US authorities over drug money

When Obj became President again as a civilian, Tinubu was the head of Agboro in Lagos masquerading as governor

When Obj was busy restructuring the telecom industry, creating anti corruption agencies like EFCC, NAFDAC , ICCP etc Tinubu was busy assembling the strongest tout association in Lagos NURTW.

When Obj finally retired and still working hard as an elder statesman to keep the country together, Tinubu is causing pain and misery to the citizens.

How does a normal person compare the two?

The only reason I'm glad he won the presidency is that his supporters are now able to see for themselves that he has never measured up to OBJ or Awolowo despite his posturing as a political and governance juggernaut
All his pontificating and sermonizing on good governance has been shown to just be platitudes not borne out of any capacity
His so-called building of Lagos is simply crass opportunism borne out of the apportioning the works and efforts of his successors for himself simply because they came out of his political machinery
