Although iam a northerner iam highly dissatisfied and feel ashamed at the average hausaman mentality although this happened in borno so the man can't be hausa, but this really explain our current situation in this country if you go to places like sokoto, katsina and zamfara the core of the hausaland you will nearly wept at what you can see, you will found a man that don't have even 200k as his capital with four wives at once and up to 30 children, he has no money to feed, clothed or educated them he will married the girls at teenage years usually to his fellow broke old man the boys will become almajiris and start roaming the streets as beggers.

we have this kind of peoples and then we sometimes wonder why terrorism, banditry, illiteracy will never end in Nigeria.

Most people of the southern regions don't understand that in a country like Nigeria formed by diverse regions in 1960, population count or land area should not have been used as yardstick to create too many states in an area with larger population or land mass. More states are supposed to be in the two southern regions than in the one northern region.

Why should an IDP camp provide permanent home to anybody? Honestly, the problems of Northern Nigeria are multi-dimensional and solving them has defied solutions and ideas.
Many people think the problems lie with religion. It's not religious but cultural and societal. I have Muslims as friends from various parts of the world and the way Islam is practice in as close as Niger is totally different from Northern Nigeria and you begin to wonder if there's hope at all.
