I saw the video, in 2024 such incident was so shameful to the image of the NIGERIA Army.
Worst come to worst, the Army should have handed the man over to the Police and charge the case.

Can these bastards try this in Borno state? Why Is the Nigerian army so shameless? In less than 9 months, the Israeli army has decimated both Hamas and Hezbollah. You don't see Israeli soldiers harassing civilians. And that's a very competent army.

This is terrible and all those involved should be dismissed after court martial. I'd call them a disgrace to the Army but the Nigerian Army does not cover itself in glory these days meaning very little is expected of it.

Do your fact check, get a copy of the Highway Code from the nearest Federal Road Safety office close to you.
It use to be 600 naira when I got mine in 2015.
I do not know the current price.

My take is that, it was not the Army to have enforce the law. They should have handed the man over to the police or Road Safety.

This "convoy" you manufactured even though it was not mentioned. I see a single vehichle. The man harassed defense statement was "how did i bash your car?" On what basis where they operating on siren? Why are they afraid of recording? Why did they destroy the phone recording?

I said earlier, that no matter what the nature of overtaking is, it doesn't not warrant any form of military brutality.
It is not in the power of the Army to handle civil cases.

Somethings need to be put right for Nigeria to move forward. Nigerians in service need to know who are they serving.

The police, military, DSS etc., should know they are serving the people and not lord over the people.

All convoy/escort should know that the roads belongs to every motorist and the lanes are marked properly to control movement of traffic.

I saw an escorts, escorting a private individual block every car from overtaking a landcruiser they were escorting on a 3 lane expressway, they were moving at a 60km/h on a 100km/h highway. This is insane.

There are certain convey for security reasons that should not be overtaken. Like CBN trucks conveying cash, the president and his vice, the governor but not every Tom, Pick and Harry.

Even tout including local government chairman now move around with police escort in convoy.
