Yes I just switched on the inverter while on the blank display and I remove the red wire at d back of the inverter while the switch is still on the ON position and gv it some time till the blank screen totally goes dark(u can gv it like 1 or 2 mins) and then just connect the red wire back to the inverter while the switch is still on the ON position and it will on

Why do I feel like u would end up cooking ur battery with that charge controller and shorten the lifespan

The aforementioned equipment are not used daily….. Some days not used at all….. the weaving machine and sewing machine are all using servo motor which does not stress the system at all… though I’m planning for an upgrade soon.

It’s just a temporary system in place.

The shop closes by 6pm and hence battery is not really in used…

So, I have these questions.

Can a 3.5KVA 24V inverter carry a 1500W air fryer?

You can try Sako Sunon IV 4.2KW 24V. Air fryer works just fine..

How do you guys clean your solar panels pls?

I live in far up northern Nigeria and we've dust storms on a regular. So panels are often covered in thick dust, though they still work.

I usually clean montly with water and omo and soft mop.

I'm hearing now that omo is too strong for panels and can erode whatever protective film abi anti reflective film on the panel. Too much Oyibo for me.

What do you guys use to clean your panels or what's the best safe way?

Is omo really bad? Can I substitute with dish washing fluid or car wash fluid or what?

I just use water.

Or use very diluted car wash fluid and a cloth to wipe it clean and then rinse.

I haven't even researched if I am doing the right thing.

For a 12v system, u sudnt be doing more than 240w(20amps) of load which I'm sure ur equipment surpasses. Its even worse when u have no loads as all the charging current wud be going into the battery

in a set up like this, i believe reducing the charge controller charging current from 120A to 20-30A will prevent "choking" the battery with excessive current rush.


However,what i believe senior members can help us clarify is...

At the max current of 120A he should potentially be able to generate 1740w( 580w X3)
After reducing the current to 20A to protect the batteries, will that affect the maximum power that can be generated ?
can he still power the same load like before during peak sunlight periods?

This Main reason I stopped using charge controllers altogether, it's not efficient.

If you have a 120A charge controller, you have no choice but to set it to maximum because the maximum determines what you will get from panels to charge and power your loads.

If you limit the charge controller to 20A, that is all you will get to power your load and charge it.

Hence I swear by Hybrid, where Charging current can be set, and still power load at the same time.

First of all , where Will the 120amps current come from?. Is it from the 3 panels used for the system, definitely not. It cant generate 120amps.
And don't mind individuals scaring you if you have a good charge controller, whatever amps in your battery,you consume is exactly what the charge controllert will give you back. It is a demand and supply curve

Dont reduce the charge of Controller, it should be at the max, you cant generate the 120amps with 3 panels, but it will supply exactly what your battery needs.

First what discharge will his battery undergo to charge 100amps instaneous charge. I would love to see you prove it for a 12v system.

It will not reach 100amps. The charge controller will automatically give accordingly to what the battery needs.

Then you made mention that it is only hybrid that set a particular charge that is wrong.
My fangpuson 80amps charge controller, with so many non hybrid can be modlated or set to whatever charge or current you want. But none the less, mine is set at 80amps and fully loaded with panels, you will not get the complete 80amps

Okay, check your charge controller if it can take a pv array voltage of 150v.
If so rearrange panels to 3 in series and parallel.... Likely the faulty,
