Why did Federal Govt banned it in the first instance?
Because the Nigerian Leaders started Corrupting the exercise,e .g, their Children and Families -will only wants to do NYSC in the Banks, Insurance, Oil-and Gas ONLY!
So,who told the Executive- that Nigerians have Changed and Corruption have now abaited?
They would soon Start from CBN,and Floors All the Banks!
Back to Square One- Greed Politicians at work again!

Ènjoyed my service was making average of 600k monthly plus my normal nysc alawee.

Those private schools or companies are not written on their PPA letter. You should know how things work in Nigeria grin

I no trust corpers for anything. Many of them wey dey do yahoo while in school them go come post am for bank. Tufiakwa. Na like putting cat in care of meat.

POSt them go secondary schools na all the underage teenagers them go fvck finish. Them too dey find free things abeg.

There are decent ones among them but they're in the minority. Their eye too dey chook

You are wrong, I served in a private company in 2015 and the name of the PPA was stated on my letter. They just don't post corpers to private companies, the private companies will have to request for it.

You need to learn how to comment or say your opinion without sounding abusive.
So the private company's name was typed in your PPA letter from camp?

If you think it's a norm, then what's the need of this allowance that's now granted to NYSC to post Corp members to private firms.
Those posted to private firms were usually arranged by the LGIs or State Coordinators. If you served in a private company, either you or your company arranged it with these officers, and then violated the normal principle

It's a good one but corpers have been serving in oil and gas sector na, abi that side na "who know who", well this is nice because it shouldn't be in schools alone.
I believe serving corpers should serve in their respective field of study

You forget that the banks could also lobby for this. Its a corporate strategy to reduce labor costs, this was also one of the reasons why it was stopped decades ago.

Using corpers is far cheaper than contract staff, alot of these banks want cheap labour that they can use and pay minimal wages.
