Cultism in the Senate.

This thing has become the norm in the national assembly, where a spouse is "pushed" to complete the term of a deceased member. How about if the spouse isn't interested in serving her constituency? How about if they have a thriving career.or business? Should they ditch it for a seat in an arm of govt they have no passion for?? I hate our legislators, they're utterly useless.

It is not an inheritance na, moreover she has a lot of house keeping to do in relation to her husband's business ....but if you are ready to sponsor her election fully, it is welcome. Me I rather choose one of his kids if they are old enough and adequately qualified, by the time they spend 16 years in the Senate they will be gunning for the Senate Presidency with lots of experience ...

See how he is trying to protect the interest of the late senators family even though they are off different tribes but later they will tell you tribe A vs Tribe B when in reality it is ruling class vs the masses

How can she replace her late husband in the senate? Was she a senator? Why didn't Ndume also appealed to the upper chamber to allow Late Senator Chuba Okadigbo's wife to replace him? If that is a new norm in the senate, they should pass a bill that once a senator dies, he/she should be replaced immediately without contesting.

Who cursed Nigeria like this, because i can't understand the kind of politicians running this country. They have turned national assembly to a playground
