Same applies to the SW. Igbos collectively went through Biafra together and that gave them the ability to unite over specific topics, especially Biafra ones.

The core north have a abundance of precious minerals, which if legally and efficiently exploited, can guarantee them a comfortable earning and progressive economy! Look at how well Niger Republic is doing! The Achilles heel of the core north however is their unwieldy and large population (especially of idle youths), their lack of self-belief, their feudal ruling elite and their addiction to a dependence on proceeds from oil and gas sales! ‘Araba’ may have been possible and popular in the late 50s and early 60s, but i’m afraid they’ve become too used to Nigeria and the ‘benefits’ they have wangled for themselves through their control of the military, their landmass and their phantom huge population, that they now can’t manage an existence independent of the rest of Nigeria! So any talk of the core north wanting to secede on their own is just empty talk!
