It is not unusual for a farmer to spend 10M to cultivate and then need 1M to harvest his crops. Nigerians and pettiness. Show me where i asked the Op for money
A brilliant come back

Are you aware that beans is now around 100k per 100kg bag? When harvest start proper it will drop down to around 60-80k, by July 2025 expect it to double up or more than

The farm isnt mine. In my own project designs, i mke sure i have resources from start toll finish. Or i turn to kultiple contigency plans. I didnt watch Batman all throughout my adolesecnce for nothing o. I have 5 contingency plans in any productivity i engage in
Aha! I initially thought the project originally belongs to you. Are you an Agribusiness consultant or just simply have your own Agribusinesses?

Na so una dey talk. Did you give me your money? Why are you projecting your problems on my life ?
I do not have any problems, I am only stating that the way young entrepreneurs come up with quick and untested ideas can be worrisome, hence one should take precautionary steps

WHAT DO YOU MEAN HERE?
the average weight for a bag of grain (beans) should be 100 kilograms, and each cost about 80-100 thousand

Someone has just asked an important question. Why all these ranting. Simply advice him and if you don't know what to say, then save your keypad from stress. Must you come online to advertise your insanity? Nigerians can be so funny at all times
Re: Country To Go On A 10m Budget by Ernesthugo(m): 3:48pm On Nov 20, 2024
so u mean after buying and planting beans price per bag would drop to 60 to 80k as you illustrated

Can you give us the opportunity to correct your mindset about the youth ? Invest 2M. I dont meed physical cash. I will ask you to pay farm resources companies for supplies and they send to me. If i pay, i will repay you 4M

Yes! Japa is a very welcome idea especially in these times.

I would like to inform you however that some African countries should also be considered as they are equally amazing places to hit the reset button e.g Botswana, Namibia, Zambia or Rwanda. The good thing with these listed African countries is the fact that;
1. You will physically blend in.
2. English is spoken in those countries, so there would be no major language wahala /barriers
3. You don't need to use school to japa there... which is convenient, if your head was not for school in the first place, so you could easily focus on your hussle.
4. Relocating the fam would be easier even on the first go.(no need to go first & fam later)
5. Affordable cost of japa 1k USD would go a long way there than in the UK for example.

Your funds would just be enough to make you restart life and balance quicker due to economic realities that are not on stark polar ends, however if you decide to go to Europe and beyond... then oga that 5k+ Dollars(10M), will not be realistic ... infact 50-70% of the 10M would be spent on processing(especially if your path is via the study route), Flight ticket and initial accommodation (it gets worse if you don't even know anyone when you arrive).

Japa is good o, but if your pockets are not there yet, then find your budget or find your size... don't hussle UK because everyone seems to be doing it.

Good luck!
The only african country better than Nigeria is south africa.

1. Security wise
2. Electricity stability
3. Job Opportunities (pay parity with usd)
4. Reduced cost of living
5. Basic amenities like running water from your taps:etc
6. Lower corruption e.g straight law enforcement...

I am sorry sir even countries like Gabon beat Nigeria hands down, for now in these 6 things I measured ... keep patriotism aside & let's be real.

Baba location matter bakery was built in a remote area and we deal with bread like Value bread back then that we take out to supply, so I should rebrand hot bread in a remote area where there's no customer, cost of production and price of flour is on high side now

blingxx:
Don’t mind the bakery owner that wants to Japa … all he had to do was rebrand he’s bakery after few years everyone knows hot and thick bread like bokku bread is the best . Just network yourself and make friends with those bakery owners

There are more job opportunities in Nigeria than the countries you listed except south Africa. Very few people have applied to more jobs than I have and I have travelled to over 15 countries in Africa. I repeat, the only African country better than Nigeria is south Africa.

Am telling you abroad is not easy, it's the exchange rate that's making it to make sense imagine working for a week abroad that's a banker 3 month salary here and open a business here is also risky because have done two, i don't have backbone if u want to make it big in Nigeria you invest big and not Peanut

Dynamicboss:
Please don’t mind people saying you should invest it in business. Though I agree to an extent that few business strive in Nigeria but it is just better you relocate on work visa and you will recoup such money in few months or years depending on our occupation over there.

Why dont you use this money to build wealth here ? How you people jump on this travel train can be very very unbelieveable. 10M will set up an irrigated Soya Beans farm that will give atleast 80 M in eight months. Nigerians smh

You have 10m Naira and you cannot find a business to do in Nigeria? Nigeria is not your problem. Your problem is entitlement and mental laziness.

That entitlement and mental laziness that is disturbing you will follow you to wherever you go.

Oh please... I said keep patriotism aside and let's be real.

The only functional resource in Nigeria right now are the people who are very enterprising.

Job Opportunities exist but how many regular people can boast of a salary equivalent of 800usd per month in Nigeria??

I can easily call some African countries asides South Africa that have that pay equivalent.

There are some African countries that Security is literally almost not needed due to safe systems and law abiding people... is kidnapping not a Norm in Nigeria?

I was shocked to my teeth to know that in some very small African countries there is relatively stable electricity... Guy how far national grid?? How can you even do business comfortably in that situation?

There are other things to state but let's keep it basic...

Many African countries are better than Nigeria on very basic levels
