Hello everyone, If a person’s interview is rescheduled on the night of her interview, yet the portal is still showing the original date, what do you advise her to do? Secondly, she and the Child (3 years old) date were separated, with a day difference. What advice do you have for her? Can she be allowed to do the interview on the same day with the child? They both have the same date and time before before suddenly they got reschedule email on the night proceeding the date of the the initial interview. Any one has experienced this before? |

Zeni06:I have raised a ticket, over 3weeks old attached my gt receipt.chatted them up, they said they hv worked on it and my payment seen and validated, yet issue persists. My issue is expired/missed IW/dropoff appointment.wch am trying to reschedule... I even tried booking a new appointment, but the system doesnt accept the gt bank ref number. The ref number is the 15 or 16 digit number on the gt bank cgi receipt abi, as there is no other number on the printout. |

| Re: Usa Visit Visa Part 5 by J3nifer: 7:08am On Nov 19, 2024 |
I think it’s best to go on the day you were rescheduled for. So as they have told you to come on Friday, print out that email and take it to the embassy with you. That will allow you in. They won’t change it on avits but the email is enough proof that your interview is on Friday. johnjunior39: |

Dear Sir/Madam, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you that I submitted my DS-160 form yesterday, November 18, 2024. However, I encountered an issue when I attempted to book an appointment for my visa application. The system is showing an Invalid DS 160 Confirmation Number. I have attached the necessary details for your reference. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue so I can proceed with my visa application process without further delay. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

Ebrandt First of all update the amentum ref number as ur receipt number....it will tell you receipt updated successfully....then wait for 2_3days for the updating to reflect...and if u have tried this process and u keep getting same issues try and re-raised a ticket and add the screenshot of ur receipt with the screenshot of the error mssg in less than 2mb and upload it with ur passport data page photo I think that will do... |

Many thanks, @nebularise I am beginning to think all these bottlenecks are all part of a strategic means to reduce the number of applications whilst making money off people. It doesnt make sense to think that this new platform was not tested and designed to be able to handle this load from users. Where this is the case, the support guys response should be better than what we currently experience. The front line guys basically are just acting a script; sometimes if not all, they dont even understand ur issue, they just read out the comms script and that's it. They tell you same thing each time you call and are not able to advise how long ur support would take for resolution to happen. I spoke with one today and after expressing my frustration, she just told me that the technical team is not equipped with sufficient resources to manage the stream of issues that meet them every day. Look at your case now, you made payment since Sept 20th and nothing till now; it is 2 months already. It may imply that they are just doing round-robin method to select which request/issue they attend to OR they can not or should not treat beyond X number of issues pertaining to payment every week/month etc as a strategy to minimize the current stream of applicants who wants interview/visa this period especially for Spring Admissions. Things like this arent just mere coincidence sometimes. Anyways, fingers crossed. nebularise: |

Sure! Those guys dont know jack sh*t. it is the same people that pick your call when you try using the contact option on the webpage. They are acting a script and wont help you beyond what is on their script. They are not receiving adequate support from their backend/technical support colleagues so yh... Good evening all. Asking for a friend. My friend registered on Avits website and was able to book an appointment for interview date on the 27 of this month, but he just noticed that he made a typing error by inputting a wrong passport data page number on his appointment letter, he typed 210 instead of 201 as end of the passport number. Although on the visa fee receipt and DS 160 form the passport number is currently written but only the one on the appointment letter that is wrong. Please I will really appreciate it if someone can help on how to make the correction or if there is any possible advice on what can be. Thank you all. |

Hello people! Please advise on the fastest way to switch from B1/B2 to F1 visa for someone already in the US without going to Nigeria. Thank you! |
| Re: Usa Visit Visa Part 5 by Ebrandt: 2:41pm On Nov 20, 2024 |
When you log in, do the following: 1. Go to pending appointment. It should bring up that payment page. 2. Select bank to First Bank of Nigeria. (Do not generate another payment slip o) 3. Navigate to the next tab, insert the Ammentum Number there and select the date of deposit. When you click submit, it should notify on the top right corner that says: "Bank Details Updated successfully" From what other say here, it should ideally redirect you to appointment schedule but it just takes one back to generate another slip. However, according to @Lovaboiofficial, let's see if it would update after 2-3 days from now. Sasatoboy:

| Re: Usa Visit Visa Part 5 by MysTeerioz(f): 3:20pm On Nov 20, 2024 |
Please everyone, I have been trying to reschedule my mom's appointment but have been unsuccessful. For context, she had an interview booked for Dec 5th which was later rescheduled by the Embassy to August 13th (ALL THIS BEFORE THE MIGRATION). Unfortunately, she was not at in Nigeria and could not meet that new date and her profile/MRV receipt was not opened until the date of the migration and so we had to wait out the migration process. Eventually, I created a new profile for her on the USVITS site and since then, I have been unable to schedule an appointment date for her. It keeps stopping at "duplicate info found for user", I do not understand how? Did anyone face this challenge? How did you address it? Please note that I am currently not in Nigeria so I cannot call support, also I have raised several tickets but support is not giving me any tangible solution except the usual create a profile and pay. Any advice would be appreciated. |

You will firstly choose any available date and on the appointment page, you will see emergency appointment and the list of eligibles for the emergency appointment Ghostlee4k0: |

Hello thank you. I qualify for interview waiver but after ans3ring all the questions I was only directed to book an appointment for regular interview which is now June 2025. My worry is that I need to travel in December. What can i do to get the interview waiver option. Did I make any mistakes in answering one or some of the questions? |
