Few decades ago, people will always advice you to train ur children in Nigeria or Africa if you want them to have good morals and become respectful.

Do we still have those values that makes us Africans? Cos the kind of negative attitude most Nigerians now display is something else.
Prostitution, fraud, cyber bully, tribalism, racism has gone up in the recent years.

Where did we go wrong?

Honestly, our society has so much decayed to the extent that we now tend to celebrate what we used to castigate some years ago as Africans...

Think about how 5 years from now is gonna be like...

Good morals only exist in a society where things work, especially the government because it's the face of every society.

After your parents have taught you rectitude, you listen to news and hear politicians looting billions of naira and your colleague stealing in the office, you wouldn't need anyone to tell you that good values are useless in Nigeria.

Generally, parents teach their children good values because we need them to coexist, but nobody calls them Nigerian values anymore because Nigeria has no values.

How can that happen in a country where the president is a suspected drug baron? A country where the IGP and INEC connive to steal people's mandate? Where judges gives frivolous judgements?
You think these children can't read or hear what adults are discussing?
They know exactly what is happening in Nigeria.

Comparatively, I would say yes.

Few decades ago? Aren't your parents and grandparents, majority of them brought up and trained in your Nigeria many of the same responsible for bringing Nigeria to its knees?

2. What values make you African's? The same values that have over the last 60 something years helped see to it that Nigeria remains nothing worth writing home about? undecided

3. The current crop of leaders and the millions who work for them, along with the old-youths--- many of them above the age of 40-- who dance on their mandate -- where they not raised according to these Nigerian values which you here pretend was at sometime of real worth? undecided

boko haram, yoruba agitator, kidnappers product of Nigerian lack HOME TRAINING
... cult boys, jaw terrorists, agberos, police & army bullies etc, are all included.🧐

All of this isn't a lack of home training but a direct result of the kind of home training that Nigerians have and offer their kids.. undecided

Not quite. The US has a working system but the kids there are the ones forming 'they/them' pronouns, shooting their classmates and teachers with deadly weapons and transitioning from one gender to the other.

I agree! So long as those claimed values do not translate to building and maintaining a working system for the majority where fairness is more or less guaranteed all then those values are worthless in the grand scheme of things. undecided

You have just defined yourself very well grin

You lack values that's why you go about here causing a nonentity doing senseless boring tribal rants.

Shame on Your tribalistic hateful soul .
Nigerian parents of this generation lost the spices. Birthing kids like you, who lack the mental capacity to free their heads off senseless tribal bigotry is causing our society problems.

What you see of Nigeria today IS NOT of this present generation but rather the report card on the last 100 years or at least the last 70 years of Nigeria. Yes, Nigeria which you see today is the cumulative report of the values of the people to date. Look at it and understand what is revealed by it — the total value of it all. undecided
