There is some battery they are selling now it will always show 100% even if the battery swell up it will still show 100% battery life 😂.even software with detect because the battery is fake and it was build for that purpose .
So does battery showing you 70% and 85 % are follow come battery but weak because it is used some 100% are worsted than 60% battery

I am sharing this information for as many that plan getting an iphone, be it new or uk used

I was using 11 pro Max before and in JUNE this year 2024, i bought a new 12 pro max 512gb from a reputable store for 850,000naira

within 1 month of usage i discovered the battery health has dropped to 93%, this is a phone i hardly charge because i have another phone

few weeks ago i went back to same store to register my displeasure, there and then i met 2 persons who came to complain about battery of 14 pro max and the other person about the battery of the 12promax he bought. The person that bought the new 14 pro max said she bought it just late last month and battery health is already showing 91%.

Someone later told me that the best thing to do when buying an iphone is to go with a software phone repairer so they can test the phone with different software before payment

I decided to get another iphone using this method and we were offered a new 13pro max 256gb for 1,100,000 and a uk used for 950,000.

on this particular day, i went with a software phone repairer and he have this software on his system, that detect the actual battery life of iphone and also detect how many times one have charged the phone in the past and also detect if the phone have being opened ( it even detect if you have changed backcase)

Guess what?

1. we tested NOTHING less than 20 iphone 13pro Max 256gb uk used and NOT even 1 passed the test, which means they have ALL boosted the battery. there was even one they brought, the battery is showing 86% and when we used the software, the real battery life was 56%

2. We later saw another uk used 13 pro max 256gb with battery health of 99% and after testing it with software its showing thesame 99% battery health. guest what? the price is 1,100,000 last last

DECISION: I did not mind the price, i bought the uk used for 1,100,000 last Saturday and settle the engineer well.

GUESS WHAT?

Since that Saturday afternoon till now that i am sending this message, i have ONLY charged the phone 2 times and i have not switched off my internet since then

meaning for every 20 iphone you see out there BOTH UK USED AND BRAND NEW ONE, there is a VERY slim chance you will get a good phone that the battery health have not being compromised

if you have an iphone or intend buying one, please try use 3utools ( just google it) to check very well before buying and thank me later

If they tell you battery has been changed to a new one but you will see the hardware error at the about page, will you buy?

So it’s the buyers that is making them lie since the truth won’t make them sell.

My 2 cents

You messed up when your said you were buying a brand new iPhone 12 pro max. If you're used to using iPhones, you'd know that Apple stops producing an iPhone when they release a newer model.

We're on iPhone 16 series right now, so 12 pro max is 4 generations behind. Think of how much of a hassle finding a brand new 12 pro max will be? It's almost impossible.

If you find a brand new 14 pro max right now, it's by some miracle.

Not unless you've actually ran an older iPhone's IMEI through one it these IMEI checker websites and it says that the phone you're trying to buy hasn't been activated before, you're most definitely going to end up with a refurbished/replacement/ iPhone.

Finally, it's always a red flag when an iPhone from at least 2 years ago shows you a too-good-to-be-true battery health.

A buyer wants what a buyer wants. Let's not justify unethical business doing. It's either you give value for what someone is paying for or you don't do that business at all.

Whether a phone barely works or not, it'll attract a customer who is content with its condition.

The act of deceiving buyers by doing that fake battery boosting is pure evil. Speak the truth, comrade.

this is a weird take from you. why buy a defective item and lie to your customers in other to sell it? I'd just say, buy your item from a very reputable source. Gchucks and Onyizee have been reputable for me here.
